I don't know Tyde's current financial situation, not anyone's business, but I do agree people that dismiss money as just a nuisance are generally people that don't have any. I've seen this over the years, people claim they only need the basics to live, but it's not out of desire, more of necessity. Nobody is ever going to convince me for instance, they are fine with a 500 square foot apartment in a ghetto, versus a 3000 square foot house in a nice area.

But getting back to Tyde, he claims he likes this minimalist lifestyle. However, when he was in Mexico and scored those two big Pokerstars tourneys he by his own admission went on a buying spree and bought a bunch of unnecessary electronics. This is odd for someone who says they embrace a minimalist lifestyle. Just the opposite, someone that came into money and just splurged with little self control.

But let's look at this further. This is Tyde presumably right before he got sober. This is the hotel he was at where he cracked his dome and chronicled the God saving experience of sobriety. I think we can all agree this hotel is about as minimalist one could get, in fact one could even classify it as dangerous and unsafe:

Then a mere couple months later after a stint in rehab after a car living experience, he began making 6 figures on a job and decided to splurge on this golf resort. You will see this is hardly minimalist at all, more a pattern when Tyde comes into quick cash he spends it as quick as he gets it.

I believe I paid less than 2 grand last January to stay at Singing Hills Resort for 4 weeks straight in a deluxe room that bottomsets dumb redneck ass would have ‘stroked a check’ for 300 a night

Also um yes I will defnitely be taking a trip to Brazil sometime early next year because hellooooo a round trip flight to Sao Paulo or Rio runs a whopping 1200 bucks or so

So when I say I’m staying in a resort or taking a trip…sorry to disappoint you but yes I can afford it because I’m not a complete dipshit slaving my life away living in some worthless suburban shithole stuck with a fat wife, dead end job, and retarded mongoloid kids

In fact, you'd think Tyde would just bust ass for two months, work non stop and make say $80,000 and just head to Brazil for three months. Then come back work for two months, head back to Brazil, rinse and repeat.

Hard to believe this guy was sleeping in his car in Vegas a couple months ago because he did not want to spend $150 for a hotel room at the Horseshoe. By the sounds of it, that is like 20 minutes of work.
