If the story is true JFC. You can’t even say the match was rigged now tbh. You agreed to the match and you lost. Prob not fair and square but it’s a wrap. 10K is gone. Got to move on. Sorry.

I’ll be honest, I’m not sure if you are trolling here with this story. It’s probably more likely Scarlett Johannsen would ask you to go up to her room to fuck her then some random guy you just met would legitimately offer to stake you in a 100/200 game.

But if this really did go down like you said. Please do your best to learn from it.

The same thing happened to me on December 17, 2024, this piece of trash Lenard Adam Lucky, sat next to me and told me that he was waiting for 100/200, that he had been waiting for some fish for an hour since it was his private table, he showed me some videos of him playing HCL (aka lucky father of 5 kid) he asked me if I was semi pro or pro, he told me if I had 50k or 100k to enter with him, (since I came with my LV backpack and rolex watch) I told him that I only had 10k for these days, he told me that if I wanted he could put the rest 50k or 75k for the game so between the two of us we could team up to pay, that it was easy since they are nerd and fish, and what he earned he was going to keep half. I was surprised since I am a semi high roller, I play more baccarat at Caesar Palace (50k every trip to Vegas) and I played along to see where he was leading me, I said yes (who doesn't like free roll), he asked me if I knew how to play red or black on the flop, he told me he was anxious, he wanted to bet, you put in 5k, I'll put in 25k, I don't care if I lose, I need people who look rich and because he just won 630k in an NBA game with another hustler (Sean Perry), he showed me pictures of him hahahahahaha. he told me come on follow me i have a suite, i follow him like 1 minute and he said i like your watch let flip a coin i put 25k for u rolex (under date) i say no, and he say u dont have ball for these types of bets better go play 1-3 kid and eh keep waking up fash and he disappeared turning to see if i would follow him to his suite lol i think he's in vegas. im 5'8 135 lbs. if i follow him to aria he would rob me 100% keep safe guy, we are gamblers we all tell lies in some way don't trust anyone in the casinos.

I don’t know what the fuck is going on in this thread. It sounds like he’s sweet talking men with money at casinos the same as he did with the women he manipulated. It’s really incredible. The casino environment is not one where people make friends on the spot. It’s a very fake place where everyone is out for themselves. Charitable people aren’t going to go down to the casino to do good deeds.

Just think of the strip club example. The stripper is not interested in you at all. She is interested in your money. She is making believe she finds you interesting. That’s what’s going on in casinos. Could it be possible to cultivate a friendship or relationship with someone. you met at a casino? Yes sure it’s possible. But you will only find that out when you get to know them outside of that environment. In essence it’s like the anti-drug campaign from my youth…..Just Say No!

Poker Fraud Alert is the source of this article. Hopefully these casinos ban him. Similar to Mikki, Lucky uses his appearance on HCL as a way of legitimizing himself to people. Mikki was arrested with an HCL sweatshirt FFS.

As Druff has stated before, it is impossible to vet everyone playing on a stream game. Unfortunately, Druff is pretty much the only one who really covers this sort of thing. Poker media is just too much about promotion and I am glad Poker News did finally cover this…but they are late to the party.

I think it’s probably time that HCL at least puts a disclaimer on the beginning of their show that no one should enter into financial arrangements with someone because they appear on the stream. Sadly, I don’t see that happening as the staking sites are imtertwimed with many players on these streams.

I respect Berkey’s hustle in putting out daily content….but this thing can bore a nerd to tears. Berkey doesn’t have the gift of gab and I think has improved his mic skills probably about as best as he can. But all these other people just kind of sit there out of obligation waiting for Berkey to finish his talking.

I know I’m not the target audience for this but I am just surprised that they haven’t changed the dynamic much. This guy Matt Hunt seems like a decent guy but I mean it’s insufferable hearing him talk about poker like he’s splitting the atom. It’s a tough listen for me.

Probably the worst thing is the personal stories or anecdotes need to be somewhat interesting. I will preface this by saying I think people in poker are scared of this guy Lucky because he is not just a scammer but seems to have a more devious criminal background.

So if Berkey and Landon have actually dealt with the guy personally/financially….why are we not getting any real details? Furthermore, why is the Poker News article so thin on details as well? It’s like both Poker News & Only Friends wanted to say they covered this topic without really getting into much of anything.

I’ll give the benefit of the doubt that they are scared of this guy Lucky and that’s why punches are being pulled.

I will say I’m glad Berkey did at least realize that Lucky probably paid his small debt to Berkey because Berkey has a podcast and it would be dumb to scam him. Not withstanding the fact that “he didn’t scam me” is a dumb argument. A thief may not steal every time he goes to the store. If you come across a murderer, that doesn’t mean he’s going to kill you. Well, you see where I am going.

Also I want to be clear, as much as I am reminded how much I cant stand this podcast. I don’t dislike Berkey and his crew. I think they seem like good people. It’s just not my thing.

His scams are making headlines, he made it to the PokerBoom youtube channel. Also a few more articles about him linked below. I think we helped shed light on this as this thread has been getting mentioned. Good job everyone, we may just have saved someone from getting scammed by this slimy piece of shit going forward
