Based on the abortion the entire NL West has become its fair to say that whomever wins the division likely will get bounced in the division rnd as they are going to get the Nats or the Cubs depending on who wins the race for 1st. At this point if the NLCS is anything but the Nats and Cubs Ill be surprised.. SF has the worst record of all division winners since the ASB. (they lucksacked that win against the Nats lets be honest).
I actually like Giants vs. Rangers for the WS now...but playoffs obv a toss up

Red Sox picked up this journeyman from the Padres, Drew Pomeranz. This year he averaged 48.6% fastballs. Came to AL and he is throwing them only 38.6%. He's positively afraid to throw a strike now that he's made The Show.
I think his parents were in the stands. He toiled so long in the NL West. They are so proud he finally made it. He may not succeed but he can always say he played in the AL East. You can't ever take that away from him.
Sawks suck, especially lately. Thank god they get a few gimmes in LA this weekend. Orioles, Tigers etc etc. It could have slipped away fast.

I actually don't blame the Sawks for picking him up and signing him to 300 million. It was a weak group to choose from. This is all on Price. He just failed to perform. More than any other player he is the difference between the Sawks in first and playoff hopeful and, well, this.
