The Canadian dollar — also known as the Loonie — dropped 16 percent against the dollar last year and is now hovering near 71 cents to the U.S. dollar. In January alone, the greenback added more than a percent against the Loonie.
Druff, you are going to miss seeing a lot of the world if you always plan your vacations based upon the rising and falling of international currency rates. Open up the Jew wallet and go somewhere new. Not that Canada is a poor choice, but you went there last year! I suggest Ensenada, Mexico. Just like Canada, it is cheap. I hear that there are Americans living there on $40 a month.

Flying into Alberta then driving around is definitely the best choice for scenery/etc.
You could always take it easy and rent a cottage/house somewhere and chill for a week. Hire someone with a boat to take Bdubs fishing, riding 4 wheelers, some outdoorsy stuff you wouldn't normally do.
If you go back to Ontario, we need to have lunch/dinner/something. I'm likely not heading to Vegas with the dollar so shitty unless some casino wants to offer Canadian at par (they used to do that).
