I've read a little about that as well, but I came away with the impression that there seems to be correlation, not causation. That diet choices are the likely cause of having the fat bacteria.

The gay/straight thing is even more fascinating. Fucking crazy. One would assume identical environmental conditions since inception....yet one with completely different sexual preference?? It should be impossible!

Yeah I'm not convinced either but it holds enough water as a theory to maintain my attention; I believe there could be fire under that smoke..
