I usually run so bad that such a situation would mean I would miss out on a huge winning day, but this time I lucked out. I told the friend that his "issues" turned out to be a great thing.

Person I was going to go with to tomorrow's game can't make it, so now I might not even go tomorrow, as I had originally planned. I was Jewishly waiting til the last minute to get the best deal on tickets, which have fallen in price even more due to today's loss.
It is annoying that one can't plan for tomorrow's game until late the night before.
The game will be at 5:08 PDT if the Cubs win tonight, and 2:08 if the Giants win.
