Remember, that line can never go down...just up or flatline (the cumalative cases recover or die). And it *has* flattened dramatically. Oh and don't worry about the blip, that only indicates the rise before this apparent flatlining was worse. But it is getting better.

That chart is China centric, which will be the lesser story soon. Rest of world is the story. South Korea added almost another 200 cases in last 24 hours . Blew right past the cruise ship as largest concentration. In a week they went from 1/1000 of Chinese new cases to adding almost a 1/3rd as many new cases just today. It’s possible they contain it, but it’s trending poorly as far as being a world problem v China problem

I hadn't played any poker in a few months and in a moment of weakness a week ago I went to the Bike. Everyone was sneezing and coughing it up of course.
Predictably, I got sick. Had a mild fever and was feeling run down for a couple days, but fever broke and feel fine today. I actually hope it was the coronavirus, just to get it over with. I have a couple kids, so seems like a lock it will run through the school and we will get it at some point anyways. I researched, and it appears the disease is super mild in small children (although with China you never know how truthful any information is), so that is good news.
My dad and my father in law are both in their 70s, and both have COPD from decades of smoking. So they are right in the sweet spot to really get hit hard. And my dad goes to Indian casinos to play poker a couple days a week, as he is retired and doesn't really have anything else to do. Hoping for the best.
