Trump was the last chance against a terrible opponent. Demographics have ensured that there will never be another Republican President.

Hillary will be the peoples champion if she keeps her word on the TPP. I'll fiercely defend her against the right wing trolls like Druff n 4dragons if she sides w the people this one time.
Listen to what she says about the TPP.

I havent been following at all but isn't Hillary's smartest move to just shut the fuck up and have Bill talk her up as much as possible.
People still love Bill Clinton right? People can't handle hearing Hillary's voice without getting angry right? Or are those two opinions just my own?
I wonder what the over under on Bill's life would be if Hillary actually gets this thing. I don't think her ego would allow him to live that long. I'd set it at like 6 months.
It still absoulutely boggles my mind that either The Donald or The Cunt will be POTUS. This can't be real life. Maybe since its Elon Musk realizing this world isn't real instead of just Sheboon Pickens realizing it people will start to understand. Not sure how anyone could imagine this shit isn't artificial if one of these two inherits the White House.
She gave herself a huge out to support TTP: She'll oppose it *if* it "kills jobs". The typical political narrative supporting such trade deals is that they "promote jobs". So, yeah. She'll come around to support it after some handwaving renegotiations on a few high profile items. Or floats a new government program for retraining/whatnot just like promised with NAFTA.

If a middling Ohio governor like John Kasich would have been the favorite to win this election, there's no way you can say that.
Republicans still have a path to 270. It just won't be with Trump.
Also, don't underestimate the ability for election demographics to change.
Don't be surprised if Trump influences future candidates. With so many blue collar white supporters, a candidate without Trump's baggage could run on no entitlement reform, nationalism, big spending on infrastructure etc, and ditch the donor's pet issues.
Things we now know.... "christian conservatives" don't seem to care about religion much, rank and file Republicans don't give a shit about tax cuts for the wealthy, and no party wants to cut social security.
An under reported story this year was the Republicans had 6 contenders (10 non contenders) with essentially the exact same policy plans, and Trump.
How do you know Obamacare's good for the people? Because the for profit insurance companies are crying about money. They shouldn't even exist since they have a huge incentive to deny people the treatment they need.

Which right wing idea is worse?
For profit private health ins or for profit private prisons. Both are guaranteed to fuck over the people.
The failings of private insurance companies providing Obamacare policies are indicative of a broken system which isn't working as intended, not effectiveness of the law.
They need to stop worrying about their own base and figure out how to attract the unaffiliated or moderate Democrats.
Trump actually managed to do that, to some degree. That's how guys like Marty got so excited about him. When was the last time you saw Marty crowing about a Republican candidate?
Unfortuantely, what was good about Trump was also what was bad about Trump, and he turned off more people than he turned on. And so here we are.
But yes, if you're trying to say that a Republican candidate with a more populist appeal might do well next time, you might be right. Trump won the primary because the party was out of touch with the desires of its base. But they'll have to get beyond their own base to ever win again.
Have you ever met a pro-life/anti-choice Democrat?
Because that's the unicorn you need to dig up if you're looking for 'moderate Democrats' willing to vote Republican.
The last candidate who had a chance was McCain, and he abandoned his permissive attitude regarding abortion and stem cells as a condition for GOP backing, so....
