A WTF movie.
Are you nuts??? Haden did a great job playing a self-centered scared-to-be-losing-bachelor-freedom past-his-prime man-child former TV star very very well.
But you’re correct about Giamatti not being as well known then as he is now. In fact, his father, who wasn’t even an actor, was probably better known than he was among the general public despite being a solid supporting actor in a number of well-received movies.
Hey Aus: You want a dark comedy here is an all time great .

I liked Under The Silver Lake. Reminiscent of David Lynch or early Robert Altman.
Haden’s character was supposed to be a douche. Sort of like Bojack Horseman but not as successful. And his character arc was interesting because he ended up opening up near the end of the film about why he was being especially douchey. And you gotta love that it took him getting cracked in the head with a motorcycle helmet by a very pissed off chick he had just selfishly used to help that emotional revelation come out.
Bohemium Rhapsodey now on cable after shortly after viewing, very very gay
The last movie I saw in the theater was Limitless.
But this Friday Ad Astra starring Bradley Pitt and a number of great actors
is released in Canada and I'll be there with my I love Brad Pitt buttons on.
Looks pretty awesome
"The Brad Pitt starring Ad Astra goes to infinity and beyond, resulting in one of the best films of the year."

Tenet was good but confusing as hell.
James Bond is never confused.
Fuck the women.
Kill the bad guys.

Finally saw Watchmen. As good as advertised.
Sleep Doctor highly reccomen
WW84.
Its very boring. 2.5 hrs is one hour too long. As gorgeous as she is, her acting is lacking.
Terminator: Dark Fate
I was really hoping the opening scene was a dream sequence. It basically made T1 and T2 pointless.

black bear do not watch it with any woman you are dating romantically marrone
its also weirdly brilliant
7 Days To Vegas. Watched it last night. Vince Van Patten co-wrote and played the lead role in the movie. It was based on stories told to him by his dad, Dick Van Patten. Dick used to hang out with some rich crazy gamblers that would bet on anything and the movie is based on one of the prop bets they made. It's a pretty funny movie and some of the hustles were brilliant.
oh stunning a low life vegas degenerate watches some idiotic movie about vegas
I MEAN CMON
Shots fired ?
im a hella libtard you know what it be
Does anyone have anything to say about vanilla sky? Like I had such high hopes for it. But after having seen it twice, I’m still not sure I got it.
yeah it sucks and it was the early 2000s where cameron crowes auteur cred couldnt be higher after almost famous so people tried to like it next
btw what a retarded question that movie is like 40 years old and thats the last movie you watched BLACK BEAR PEOPLE
BTW what was good this year?
I would normally go to theaters like 30-40x but nothing from 2020 is coming to mind as great.
Krypt you got a MANK take? I liked but have gotten colder on it.
besides black bear this was a year for good tv i guess palm springs is worth watching ? but like probably has no meaning to people who havent been there so i probably liked it more cuz im better than you as a person
you sticking your tongue out for a hot load from a 24 year olds mank take is just adorable though
i mean toooooodge whoooooo are these people
I somehow missed this one.The Sisters Brothers with Joaquin Rivers and John C. Reilly. Not a comedy. A western and takes place in the gold rush west. I've seen most of Riley's work and he'd be amazing without his comedic talent. My wife can't stand him. Irreconcilable
It is a bit odd seeing Reilly in a shoot-out but only because he's noted for his humour.
Rivers is great as well.
I finally looked up the Rivers family because of the names Joaquin and River. Give a kid a break. Rivers is the mothers family name and there are three sisters, Rain, Summer and Liberty. Could be a book.
I did once know a poor girl named Melanie Bell and I thought that was too close.
The Lobster starring Rachel Wiesz and Colin Farrell. So friggin good.
Highly recommended...

Sean Penn’s “Into the Wild” Netflix
I’ve seen it before. I appreciated 100% more this time around.
Amazing
Bump.
Barbarian and Pearl are both great if you like horror films.
Hey faggots? This shit makes Oz and even Gomorrah look like Sesame Street by comparison
