Good thing this game wasn't in Seattle, Tony probably would have left when it was still 14-13.
In all seriousness Tony, I disagree Seattle showed they were the better team by all that much. Had Shanahan shown some balls and benched RG3 when it was still 14-13 this game could have easily had a different outcome. Seahawks were fortunate he chose to stick with a very injured QB.
Either way, GG. GL next week.
BTW, I really do like Wilson. He is the real deal and will only get better.
Seattle won because boss n-word was playing on one leg. When the teams were both a full strength, the Seahawks were down 14-0. Seattle got a lucky break, just like the GB game. SEA has a horseshoe wrapped in rabbits feet up their ass. It all ends in ATL anyway.
Wilson throwing a block 25 yards downfield so Lynch could score the go ahead TD was extremely impressive. Very few QBs are capable of getting in front of a RB over that distance.
Andrew Luck set the rookie record for passing yards, lead 7 game winning drives in the 4th quarter, and was arguably the third best rookie QB in the league. That's just astonishing.
I didn't think the refs would gift them the GB game. I didn't think a Belichick coached NE team would throw away 3 points at the end of the first half. I didn't know boss n-word would have to play on one leg. That being said, yes, when it comes to Seahawks games, you can pretty much count on my pick being a reverse lock.
Griffin re-injured his knee in THIS game. After he packed the Seahawks shit for two drives. He was fine against the Cowboys. So no, I didn't know before the game that he was gonna injure himself. Congrats to you for knowing for a certainty he would re-injure himself. You should go buy a lottery ticket.
He was very gimpy coming in and everyone in the world, including Dr Andrews, knew that. You don't have to be Nostradamus to know that he was at risk in this game.
Seattle is a football town, but it really goes Seahawks bananas when they do well. It dominates local coverage which I'm sure is making AH even more miserable than he is normally.
Gimpy coming in? Bullshit. He rushed for 63 yards and a TD against Dallas last week, then let it rest for a week, and looked great in the first quarter of this game until he tweaked it in the first quarter on that weird sidearm throw. I guess it is just a massive coincidence that the Redskins outscored the Seahawks 14-0 before he tweaked his knee but were outscored 24-0 after he tweaked it.
You're right. People do go apeshit in Seattle after a garden variety wild card game win. That's because no major Seattle sports team has EVER won a championship. The losers around here gotta hold onto something.
Well, that settles it. The NBA is not a major sports league.
Wisconsinite and Packer lifer here. Most Packer fans I know want to get a re-match with Seattle in the NFC Championship. Honestly, Seattle scares the shit outta me.
To me, Russell Wilson has that special something about him. The guy is a serial killer (calm, cool, determined). He showed it at Maryland, Wisconsin and now Seattle.
Thoughts on SEA-ATL line for next week? I'm seeing ATL -2.5
I hate betting football (aside from &@#*&!@ obv) but would guess this moves in Seattle's direction as the week goes on.
100% This moves to at least -3 by the weekend. Everyone will think about the 14-0 lead that the Deadskins jumped out to and then RG Whitey got hurt and is why the Seahawks won.. Just listen to azz clown in this thread if he isnt Joe Public no one is. Something has to give next week in these games with all 4 favs covering this weekend. Although Im sure vegas loves that all 4 games went under. I look for the Ravens to beat the Broncos next week.. Atl vs Sea no clue.
pretty sure he played at NCState not Maryland, braj
can't wait for that show to come back
Wings? I've heard Zetterberg found a sweet line mate. I'm not expecting a whole lot this season though, they'll probably get into the playoffs and fizzle out in the 1st or 2nd round.
Now I understand how Seahawk fans had no moral issue with the fail mary. Your just lieing to yourself if you dont realize that RG3 and the Skins were destroying them until that throw bolded above. He couldnt complete a pass after that, and it sure couldnt run or even avoid guys in the pocket. Seahawk fans shouldnt feel bad, but to act like they were just the better team is just not true. I'm glad the Seahawks won, but if RG3 wasnt so selfish and the coaching staff werent such idiots thn Cousins would have went in and more then likely easily won that game up 14 already.
I also think Russell Wilson won the ROY yesterday. Not sure when the voting ended, but if it ended after yesterdays game he should win it hands down imo.
Richard Sherman is a no class typical piece of Compton trash.
Just wanted to throw that out there.
"Throughout the whole game you could tell how hurt he (RGIII) was," Sherman said. "But he has a lot of heart, and that's my guy and I'll talk him up until the sun comes home. You've got to respect the guy."
Sherm is the classic player that is loved by his home team and fans and pretty much loathed by everyone else. I'm not here to defend him as he obviously talks a lot and that's part of his game.
I will tell you that most of his in-game talk is pretty humorous, and he uses is to get under his opponents skin which he does with regularity.
Referencing yesterdays post game shimozz, Sherm went up to Williams and offered a hand, Williams responded with "What's up now, I'll swing on you", to which Sherm replied, "then swing" which is kind of what he did. You saw what happened afterward.
I'm not going to bury either player for the incident. This is the NFL and these guys are wired a different way to begin with. Williams texted Sherm after the game and Sherm tweeted a message two hours after the incident, saying Williams sent him a "very classy text."
Received a very classy text from @TrentW71. Great player! This is an emotional game no ill will either way. Have a great Pro Bowl! Well deserved.
I'm putting in an order for my Sherm jersey right now.
LOL...
Richard Sherman is a class act, a gentlemen and a scholar.
My apologies.
Just reporting what I heard, no one but the players involved know for sure.
Your right about Soldier field. The hawks had to play on it FROZEN two years ago after the Beast Quake win over New Orleans and got their asses kicked and were losing players to injury all over the place.
I love the matchup with Atlanta. LOL one of the current player hosts, not sure who he is, on NFL AM said that Atlanta has NO CHANCE against the seahawks and that the hawks are going to the super bowl.
Not sure about that but I do think the hawks match up very well against Atlanta. The Falcons don't run the ball or stop the run well at all which should make life very difficult for them.
