Maybe but accusation don’t mean guilt...someone once accused you of being funny...but you’re not.

Where was the accusation when he was being vetted in the past....just seems like the “end justifies the means” no matter how shady when it comes to politics....on both sides by the way.

Why do women not report sexual abuse immediately? There are many reasons but I can't relate.

When a person is about to be appointed to one of the highest ranking positions in your society, you can't
brush this off in anyway.

It's like the Mueller investigation. It that didn't happen you'd have become more like
Russia and CHINA

Tina Dupuy - The allegations: In an essay for the Atlantic, Dupuy alleged that Franken groped her at a Media Matters party during President Barack Obama’s inauguration in 2009. “He immediately put his hand on my waist, grabbing a handful of flesh. I froze. Then he squeezed. At least twice,” Dupuy wrote. “Al Franken’s familiarity was inappropriate and unwanted. It was also quick; he knew exactly what he was doing.”

Re: the Tweeden story on the Kuwait flight. That photo was staged and meant to be funny, but obv. not. It was set up. Others were watching. No one said he touched her in that incident.
All the other alleged events were enough for him to resign. I don't think he was pushed out but that's beside the point.

This case against Kavanaugh is no different. A women of some repute has risked the wrath of many by coming out with her story. It must be investigated fully before this man is appointed to the Supreme court
Not saying these women are lying but it's odd that a Senator would risk everything for a squeeze on the butt while a relative of the victim takes the photo.

If the allegations against Franken we're in the midst of a campaign I would have been more skeptical, but the fact his fellow D's abandoned him spoke volumes. They knew he was Handsey McHandserson so the allegations weren't difficult to believe.

The case against Kavenaugh is completely different. There aren't scores of women coming forward with similar stories, and even if we take Ms. Ford's claim at face value, it's a 35 year old accusation that can't possibly be corroborated.

She deserves to be heard, but there is no way this will stop the confirmation. It a delaying tactic by the D's and being done purely for political reasons. The D's don't give two shits about Christine Blasey Ford, they only want to destroy Brett Kavanaugh because he has the effrontery to be nominated by a Republican president.
