Overeem will be fined $500 for being late lol. He makes weight at 248.5
I haven't been following closely but it seems like Stipe v Overeem = Overeem glass jaw moment
I think Stipe is a favorite here for two reasons; Werdum inexplicably jogging into his fist and Brown finding Overeem's chin with a front kick.
But yeah I like Overeem here too tho, hes a better overall fighter and he tends to run over counter strikers with blitzes.
That said, if Overeem doesnt take some chances and try to wrap this up in the first 5 minutes, Stipe's going to wait for Rheem to gas then head hunt him and Im going to have to move my 2016 betting returns into the 'blood bath' column.
Part of me thinks they want Punk to do well so badly that he might win or at least make it a fight but I'm not touching that fight obv.
LOL at Overeem's $500 fine. That is opening the door for people if they aren't at the weight to sweat it out for another hour or two and pay $500 vs. missing giving up a portion of the purse (and forcing it to be non-title bout in title fights).
Glory Kickboxing on ESPN 2 tonight at 11pm EST.

Good stuff. 13 fights scheduled only 48 hours ago or so, now we're down to 10. Visas and elevators and shit.
after watching Gall get all bent when punk wouldn't shake his hand at the staredown, I wonder if punk might just be able to get in gall's head and pull this off. Not saying its likely, but might be punk's best path to victory. of course, punk would also have to be able to capitalize on gall's mistakes, which might not be too easy for someone so green.
Cmoney is on the ball, Alistair Overeem wins tonight.
womens mma is worse this sport than piss testing.
Punk is fucking relaxed walking in
lmao CM Punk
2 year wait for that
Mickey Gall appears to enjoy profanity.
I approve.
Based on what Punk said about his cut either he needs to re evaluate his weight class or fire whoever was helping with the cut. He was over 200 earlier this week which means he damn near killed himself just trying to make weight. I thought 170 was too low for him given he was technically performing in WWE as a guy who walked around mid 210s. He probably should be a middleweight as I think he's too small to fight at 205. Dana needs to go find a low end tomato can at 185 to fight Punk and make him look good or Punk will be fighting for Bellator or even WSOF next year at this time.
Punk got paid big for this fight and when the bell rang he was so clueless what to do. If UFC wants to throw him more big money then Punk will lose again.
Gall calling out Northcutt afterwards seems like it could be an interesting fight.
