Silence of the Lambos
I'm not going to be surprised if Bitcoin just plods along trading downwards, and then again in 12 - 18 months goes on another crazy tear.
I doubt it, but it wouldn't surprise me either.
Lol 5800–>6500
Bitcoin futures expired today at 4pm London so the story checks out.
Next round is Sept.
Since the launch of futures last Dec its been like drilling for oil.
But that’s not what interests me today. I’ve been noodling about the US facing books now that PASPA got smoked and the states are rapidly gearing up. Most of our beloved sites offer sports wagering so things are gonna get different quick.
I revisited my old friend Calvin Ayre.
Ayre got in early on the notion of tech and gambling. Ran a good site that outlasted nearly ever other competitor. He told Maryland to fuck off and skipped. Enjoys his windfall in a proper manner. I happen to love his publishing enterprise too.
So what’s he up to? Turns out he has lost his fucking mind and gotten into Bitcoin. More specifically Bitcoin Cash. Claims he sunk his net worth minus real estate holdings into crypto.
Feels he was early on tech & gambling and now he is gonna do the same with crypto.
Let’s just table his odd lifestyle choice for a moment. It gets better.
Ayre is tight with Craig Wright. Yeah, the one and only Satoshi Nakomoto. Remember that story? Ayre claims every piece of advice Craig Wright has given him has been correct. Wright told Ayre to get into mining and he did. Ayre says his only mistakes so far have been not acting on Wright’s advice more quickly.
So here’s an interesting interview. Take a moment to appreciate the 57 yr old Mohawk. He always said he fashioned himself after Richard Branson but I’m feeling John McAfee

The same fine folks who gave us the above Calvin Ayre interview also interviewed Bryan Maicon

It’s a fluff piece. The Icon just running his mouth and spinning history. He does this well but it’s empty calories and serves nothing more than to let you know he’s alive
It’s still a fun listen.
bitcoin will never die
or it might save lives
Wright"s buddy in the wheelchair who recently died is Satoshi. IMO
any teenage boys buried in the crawl space Gacy?

Why pay for Bitcoin, when you can steal it easily?
Florida man arrested in alleged multi-state SIM card hacking ring
Seven victims in seven states

Florida authorities made an arrest last month in an alleged multi-state SIM card hacking ring, the latest in a series of similar incidents.
According to court records first unearthed this week by reporter Brian Krebs, law enforcement learned of the plot when a mother in Michigan overheard her son pretending to be an AT&T employee and called investigators. Authorities turned up, searched the son’s room and his computer, and discovered files with a list of names and phone numbers, along with SIM cards and cell phones.
After more searching, officers say they discovered SIM cards that led to seven victims in seven states, and who said their identities were stolen and cryptocurrency accounts pilfered of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Officers interviewed the son, who allegedly said about eight others, including a man named Ricky Handschumacher, were involved. According to the officers’ account, Handschumacher discussed the fraud scheme in Discord conversations.
Officers said Handschumacher and others in on the plan would steal personal information, then either impersonate or pay off a cellular service employee to receive a new SIM card with the target’s stolen information. Using that, they could crack any passwords tied to the phone number, including cryptocurrency accounts. Police say Handschumacher told them he had laundered more than $100,000 through cryptocurrency exchanges, although he has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
As Motherboard has documented, the SIM-impersonation technique, sometimes called “SIM-jacking,” is an increasingly popular, dead-simple way for hackers to take over accounts from unsuspecting marks. In another case last month, police say a California man stole millions of dollars in cryptocurrency using the technique.
Kermit rally. Thanks.
You guys still on here thinking you understand this shit? Just read through what I’ve missed and not one cogent thought.
Just need a Kermit post to get BTC to blast thru $10,000. Sonatine??
Why is it you only post in this thread when bitcoin goes up a few hundred but are always silent when it goes down a few hundred?
I guess you are always one of those people that always buys low and sells high.
Like I said, we only ever see you when it goes up a few hundred. But we never see you when it goes down. I guess you always sell and buy at the exact moment. You must be really rich.
