I've never changed my stance. From the beginning of the thread I have said that the success of the team had more to do with the rest of the team rather than because of Kaep and the 49ers were just as well off with Alex Smith(another average QB at best). Alex Smith lead them to their best record in probably 15 years and was close to the Super Bowl. The 49ers lost that game to the Giants in overtime which they could have easily won. I guess we will see who was right in this upcoming season as the 49ers have lost many of their key players. If Kaep was the biggest reason they were winning games there shouldn't be much of a fall off right?Quote:
