Maybe because Hustler was not the victim of the theft, it wasn't taken from the cage.
Theoretically, only Robbi would know if he was not given permission to take them.
This just came to my attention yesterday. One thing I'm fantastic at is shuffling chips. Kind of weird because I’ve never been handy and had botched carpel tunnel surgery on both hands. I think anyone who shuffles chips knows roughly at least the size of the stack you are shuffling. Enough to know if you just randomly added two chips. Honestly, at most times you know the precise amount of chips you are shuffling. If you have an odd number that also sticks out.
If this video is not edited in some weird way Andy 100% stole these chips from Mike X. Clearly he has done the move before. It’s not unusual to shuffle the highest denom chips because they have the least amount of wear. Mike X was not a good mark. He buys in for even numbers and stacks his chips perfectly. It would be normal for him to know exactly how many chocolates he would have. He doesn’t buyin for huge numbers.
Andy surely has done this in private and non streamed games. I really really feel this was 100% no accident. I put it in this thread because it’s just more shadiness that’s coming out of this stream. This is pretty cut and dry to me. Anyone does this to my stack and I see the footage…no way I’m giving them a pass. This is super disappointing. Nothing is going to come of it. But I know he did it.
BTW anyone who wants to say “Andy is super rich” and why would he do this for 10K. Well, remember the absolute debacle that ensued when he loaned that chick on LATB 16K. Money’s money. Never know someone’s financial situation. Also, rich people can be cleptos too. Look at Winona Ryder.

Thanks for posting JD.
Initially when I first watched it, I thought it for sure looked like it was intentional. However, I watched the actual taking of the chips from the very beginning in super SLOW speed (.25). From the very start of the video if you watch Andy’s eyes, they are straight ahead. Once he has a Stack of his chips in his hand he placed them down on the table and then proceeds to “cut the stack in half” (eyes are still straight ahead). He cuts the stack in half with his left hand, as he goes to slide his two stacks together to form one stack again, his left pinky finger slides over the top of Mikes two 5k chips. I think this is very important, as he realized his “chip shuffle” wasn’t done correctly (so he thought) as his pinky shouldn’t have slid across any chips during the combining of the 2 half stacks. At this point is the first time he looks anywhere near the direction of Mike’s chips. He looks down where his finger touched the two 5k chips, knowing something was wrong in the process and he sees the two 5k chips and then stacks his pile on top of the 2 chips believing he was sloppy and didn’t push the chips together correctly.
It does look like he “thinks” for a split second about the two 5k chips. This can benefit both accidental arguments as well as intentional arguments.
After watching in slow motion it looks to me to be an accident. However, if this is something Andy has practiced at home and has gotten very, very good at, it’s possible it could be something intentional.
I think the video before this one starts, would also tell us a lot. I would like to see where Andy’s eyes were at prior to the start of this video to see if he looked in the direction of Mike’s chips.
@PV I got alot of respect for you so I’m going to give this another look. I will say you shuffle from the base upwards. So if you lose chips while shuffling it will be obvious and come off the top. I can say for sure that Andy at a minimum should have inquired about those 2 chocolate chips, given the proximity to Mike X’s stack. If Mike X doesn’t bring this up, very likely those chips are never returned.
So Andy was wrong to a certain extent regardless of intent. But I’ll take another look. It looks so unnatural to me. It really does look like a move. This is getting completely buried because Mike X is a great guy and giving Andy the benefit of the doubt. But I would love to know what Mike really thinks when he sees the footage. But that’s never going to happen. But you can bet your ass he won’t be leaving chocolates in that area anymore.
I never liked those arguments where someone says "he is rich, he wouldn't do that" or "the casino has the edge and they would never cheat" because then that would be the best reason to cheat and steal because nobody would expect it.
I believe this was accidental. Unlikely he tries to snag the only 2 $5000 chips that Mike X has. If he had a loose pile of them in front, then it would make sense to snag a couple. Easy to remember when you only got 2, you might miscount if you got a bunch of them.
As soon as Mike realized he may be missing two 5k chips he’s looking around for a bit. At that point in time Andy should have spoken up, and said “I was shuffling my 5k’s right here, it’s possible I may have grabbed yours by mistake”.
Andy basically let Mike keep looking for the missing chips. He should have told him right there what happen, then told floor to go to the camera to sort it out.
Andy has always come across as a solid person to me, but since these guys are on camera, it’s hard to say what is real with their personality/character and what is not.
With taking someone’s chips, it’s basically a “free roll”, there are basically no consequences if caught. If caught, “Oh I’m sorry - it was an accident”. This situation is the perfect example, can’t say 100% one way or the other.
We’re talking two chips not just one. Both chips are clearly much closer to Mike’s stack than Andy’s stack. They are procured by Andy in some kind of strange movement, that seems to be done in a very suave manner. There’s no doubt that he must of felt these extra two chips coming into his hand. He knew he was adding to his shuffle. He didn’t say “Hey Mike these chips belong to your or me?”.
It doesn’t pass the smell test to me. I think he was confident enough in the manner in which he procured the chips that he had plausible deniability if Mike noticed. Right now I’m thinking he’s essentially freerolling Mike into both realizing the chips are missing and speaking up about it. That’s where I’m at now. I got to be honest…it’s all just too convenient for Andy for me.
These chips are simply not in a common area. They are in Mike’s stack. Even if they could be considered to be in the common area between the stacks, Andy has to inquire with Mike.
Someone in replies said he did it with another player.
I was watching a YouTube vlogger who travels the world and he says people's behavior changes when they see him holding a camera. They are much nicer knowing the camera is recording. So maybe what we see of these guys on the poker streams is not a real reflection of their true personalities.
So there is no punishment, but if this was a civil trial I would find it is “More likely than not” that Andy did this purposely. You don’t take chips that far from your stack. You would 100% notice adding two chips to your shuffle. He has been conspicuously absent from the stream, even for last week big games.
I believe he posted that he played the WPT so he was not in Taiwan. His mannerisms seem very nervous to me. Bottom line is those chips were not in the common area. He had no business touching them, let alone taking them. The second his hand he felt those two chips in his shuffle, the normal reaction would be to apologize to Mike X & sort it out. Asking for the cameras means zip & pip. He knew he was going to get the benefit of the doubt. This shit doesn’t happen. The chip shuffling is not a method of vacuuming up chips.
I would find Andy liable and sentence him to 0K in compensatory damages b/c Mike X got the chocolates back. Punitive damages he would have to wax that Ferrari the Jenny Savage Chick bought for her boyfriend & forgive her 16K debt. That should straighten him out going forward.
Mike X has moved his chocolates by the way. Last night sitting next to Torelli. My guy Mike ain’t letting no one fuck with his chocolates anymore.
Talked about these two topics on the show this week.

Garrett is trying to win back the support of the poker community. He has no intention of paying that money back to Robbi. I think he should.

Played with Robbi tonight. Talked to her and she was aware of PFA, but hadn't read or listened to it.
I might be assisting her with a situation with an online site she claims ripped her off. Stay tuned.
Garrett really boxed himself in by donating the 135 K to charity. I don’t know if he pledged it over time or actually gave the whole amount. Even if you are extremely rich, 135K is a lot to donate. I guess he did it to diffuse the pressure on him to return the money. To be fair, I think that it worked to a certain extent. If he had not given the money to charity I think there would be much more pressure on him to return it. I don’t think that it should be that way, but it has seemed to work somewhat.
Garrett is smart enough to know that this is going to have to be dealt with eventually. Even if he is 100% still that he was cheated, he really needs to return this money. When Hustler came out with their findings they made it clear Garrett was welcomed back and said nothing about Robbi. Partly siding with him probably for a multitude of reasons (including loyalty/friendship), but also they know that he can’t just sit and play with this money still not be returned. In turn how can Robbi (who was not totally exonerated) play in game being owed this money from it? Garrett has to fix this and the sooner the better.
I’m sure Garrett wishes he could change many things if he went back in time. The charity thing was an unforced error for sure.

Andy’s absence on the show continues since the whole Mike X situation. I think more people know how unlikely that whole chip shuffling incident could of been an accident than are willing to publicly admit. This long absence seems very suspiciously aligned with the incident.
By “more people” I mean anyone who has ever shuffled chips in their life.
Andy absolutely tried to steal those chips it seemed so obvious when I watched it and I barely play any live poker, I couldn't believe how many people were defending him saying it was an accident as Andy is about as professional as they come at the poker table so he def knew what he was doing his lying & excuses made him sound like a sociopath

These were the texts Robbi sent.
So it looks like she's going forward with suing Garrett. Not sure what her legal standing will be here, but it will be interesting.
I think Robbi knows that tugging on Garrett’s heart strings (Congratulating him and his wife on their child) may be the only real chance she has to collect.
I absolutely think Garrett should pay Robbi, however I do not think he will, since in HIS eyes he will be surrendering.
From a legal standpoint, I can’t think of a legitimate argument Robbi would have. I’m sure she will claim she was “Coerced” into paying him. One big problem for Robbi is that she has repeated the Story many times about what was said when “Garrett pulled her to the side”. She didn’t seem forced. From what I recall (most likely after she spoke to attorney husband) the words “Dark Hallway” were then added to the description.
To be honest, I think Garrett’s pride means more to him than his reputation. I could see Garrett spending 200k to save $135k. I think it’s possible he spends every dollar needed to litigate it to death. Ultimately, if he spends more than $135k in legal fees, but doesn’t have to pay Robbi anything, in HIS eyes, he “won”. He can then say, see guys, “I was right”.
Vertucci has posted a 3 hour Youtube interview with Robbi.
I'll let somebody else watch it and report back.
I just kind of listened to the meat of the podcast in the middle and Nick does do a good job interjecting & steering. Have to give credit where credit is due. I think it helps a lot the she is physically there and they are alone. Robbi does need to be reigned in because she can go on forever. All her long form interviews in the past have been done remotely.
There is also the benefit of the “investigation” being over and not finding cheating. So that certainly changes things a lot. Nick is clearly doing both and interview and some PR at the same time. But I can’t blame him. Ever single guest on his podcast is either a regular on the HCL show or connected to HCL in one way or another.
I will say as with the Mikki podcast Berkey gets buried here. Nick knows it’s coming saying “We didn’t discuss this” and then she goes after Berkey. So that is clearly a grudge not going anywhere. I think Veronica leaving the show probably had alot to do wit her relationship with Berkey. Burial at 2:16:04….
It really does get bad and carries on. Nick can’t let this go with Berkey. I find it unfortunate because the interview was better than I expected it and this will put a dark cloud over it. I don’t think Nick could help himself. It looks like he was able to smooth things over with all the other guys that were doing content on this topic but not Matt.
Nick gets his pound of flesh around 2:23:00. Think this is a self serving indulgence that really fucks up his good work through the rest of the interview. I think one rule people should adhere to when they have a platform is to not abuse it to settle personal grudges. Nick prefaced the question, so he knew exactly where he was going. Unfortunate unforced error.

This is what I think this will come down to…
How much value Robbi puts on a public apology from Garrett.
Obviously as part of a settlement Robbi wants an apology, which she absolutely deserves one. As I said in my previous post, Garrett’s pride is very valuable to him.
I think Garrett would Snap Accept an offer that included the following:
1. Return $135k to Robbi
2. NDA (Non-disclosure Agreement). The terms of the agreement say the dispute was “settled amicably” and neither party is to discuss the terms of the settlement or the fact that Garrett paid Robbi 135k.
If you add an “Apology” from Garrett to Robbi to the above terms and I believe it’s a deal breaker and it changed everything.
So ultimately, I think that apology is “worth” $135k.
Remember “scammer Beanz”, I’m surprised he hasn’t figured out a way to turn this into some cash for himself, in one way or another. Because we know very well Garrett would pay up for “good information”. I’m sure Beanz could make up some “good information” if the price is right.
Has Gman returned the money?
I got to say…don’t feel bad for Robbi. This whole thing has been her big break. I listened towards the end of the podcast and she talks about all the opportunities being thrown her way. Eerily reminded me of the Mikki interview where he talks about all his opportunities.
She has a Sugar Daddy husband who stays home while she travels and does whatever she wants. Carries on a public affair with this guy RIP. You can tell all she ever wanted to do was be famous. She was running out of time & then this happened. She is still as delusional regarding her poker talent as ever. But you know what…ignorance is bliss. This is a woman loving her life.
Good luck and God bless. Have a blast. But I don’t feel sorry for what she’s gone through for one second. Why? Because I truly believe she loved every second. Is what happened to her that night fucked up? Yes. It shouldn’t have happened like that. But because she went through that few minutes with Garrett it doesn’t make her some kind of victim. To the contrary, she is getting everything she’s ever wanted.
She has not a care in the world. 135K? Take it Garrett, just make sure I don’t get the spotlight taken off me and can continue to play on stream. Meanwhile Garrett’s livelihood, which he built up through his friendship with Feldman playing in these soft lineups, is probably gone forever. Unless he fixes it pronto.
Of course, he can only blame himself. There is no one tougher to play against than an aggressive pro like Garrett. These high stakes streamed games have fundamentally changed without his presence. The game is so much more open with 8 whales, rather than 5 or 6 whales and a killer pro. They don’t have to worry about Garrett constantly putting the pressure on them & they sure as shit don’t miss it.
So at the end of the day Hustler is better off, Robbi is to the fucking moon better off and the players in the high stakes game are better off not dealing with Garrett. It’s all self inflicted wounds, but Garrett is the only one at the end of the day (well I guess except Bryan who stole the chips) who is worse off.
I think there is room for a redemption arc for Garrett. But he will have to swallow his pride & at least 135K. He needs to come out and make an unqualified apology to Robbi along with the 135K. He needs to fall on the fucking sword. If he does, he will be fine. I truly believe that he will be fine, but it has to be the hard way. He will hate every second of it. But deep down he knows, it’s the proper play. Painful…but the right play.
Robbi walked into the storm and has come out the other side. Most people now support her over Garrett. She can get on with her life and her attempt at celebrity.
Even if Garrett returns her money and apologizes he is going to have to put up with a lot before people stop riding him. I don't think he will be back anytime soon.
Robbi will be back on HCL before Garrett.
By the way this Guy DJ Washburn is in Max Pain Monday in full Eric Person attire. Giving out tilt cards. Even has the double stacks. It’s well done but I’m sure it was cleared with Ryan & Eric before it went down. Fell asleep during the Mr. Dr Batman interview. My big takeaway…how does everyone seemingly have so much money to burn and I can’t get -800 golf favorites home? In all seriousness, was a good interview and def went into some stuff we didn’t know about. Looking forward to listening in the archives.
I was just looking at Players overall results for the Hustler Live Poker Stream. Not to much shock until I got down to Andy Stacks. Andy has played on 37 total shows. He is DOWN $136,160. How is this even possible?
https://www.trackingpoker.com/
When it comes to variance I have a fairly good grasp on what is expected for most forms of AP. For example, if you only have a half percent edge in a game, it can take a long while to “get through variance” until you reach expectation. With say a 5% edge, you will obviously get through variance to your expected outcome much faster.
I do know that poker variance is much different than other forms of AP. I’m not that familiar with variance in poker. With 37 shows, assuming 4 hours per show, he is at roughly 150 hours of play.
So my question for those of you that understand poker variance, is it common for a winning player to be down $136k after 150 hours of play in the softest public game on planet earth? (Yes, I do realize HCL can be considered a public or private game).
He is down about $3,680 per stream or about $900/Hr.
Yes. Because the stacks are so deep in some games, you can lose a few big pots which change everything.
This isn't like playing a shallowish 1/2 NL game where a good player is almost always going to be up after 150 hours of play (provided the rake isn't too high).
Andy has still been absent for the show since the chip shuffling incident. It has been months. You would think that with Garrett gone, and he being the only “pro” with a regular invite to the Friday game, he wouldn’t miss this many. He could be in Taiwan or taking a long break, but the timing is super suspicious.
Additionally Hustler is having a huge meet up game on Feb 26 and basically every regular will be there including Mike X. Andy has not been announced. Big High Stakes game with Keating on Feb 13, once again no Andy.
Another thing of note is the highly promoted action clock for the Friday game is never used at all. This was something Garrett insisted on. Was even mentioned during his time at high stakes poker he asked for it. Think shows a bit of Garrett’s overwhelming influence on the game pre J 4.
I guess he is going to wait for his return to figure out what he’s going to do about the Robbi money.
Place is a cesspool. Also wasn't Bart Hansen on there?
Gambling world is ugly man. Hustler has just brought a lot to the surface. I’m not absolving them. They fucked up a bunch of times and have had to unscrew the pooch countless times.
Even in the PokerGo studio, they can make it seems as nice as the want. They still have two guys who scammed a million off Dan Colman sitting at the final table.
It’s seem so nice when WPT is giving away 12K packages and PokerStars giveaway away millions of dollars of 30K packages like fucking candy. It’s such a misrepresentation of what really the poker world is like. Hustler at least shows that side. But very few choir boys out there on the felt.
Imagine expecting that you can somehow parlay your infamy into some king of fame and celebrity like a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills deal, but instead ending up with nothing more than this type of video touting your appearance on what is essentially nothing more than a fourth tier Poker stream. Hopefully Parkwest at least comps a room for her for a few nights.
there will be large numbers of views
because there are so many lovers AND haters :)
Ready for the big event tomorrow?
No, I'm not talking about the Superbowl.
I'm talking about Bryan Sagbigsal appearing on Patrick Curran's Twitch, and supposedly telling the "untold secrets of the J4 scandal".
Remember, as far we last heard, Bryan is still on the run from the cops, who have a warrant out for his arrest, due to the theft of $15k off Robbi's stack, plus a separate $5k he allegedly stole from Hustler.
He has come back on Twitter as @BryanPlaysPoker, as well.
Patrick Curran is a former Hustler Casino Live employee, who also worked at Live at the Bike. I presume he chose Patrick's Twitch because they have/had an existing friendship.
