This isn't Tucker related, but in the Peoples Republic of Los Angeles several recent public government functions have had to be cancelled, because every time the government tries to do its work leftist protesters show up and shut it down with protests that are either outright violent, or bordering on it. And of course not a peep from the media on any of this. There is currently upcoming elections for Mayor and Sheriff and there was supposed to be debates for, but so far they have all been cancelled due to security concerns.
Although for the Mayoral race I suspect part of the reasons for the cancellations is that the current leader, Karen Bass (a black progressive), probably doesn't want to expose herself to the largely Hispanic public, because she has nothing to say. Her teams entire platform is her opponent is a former Republican businessman (which is true) and hence you have to vote for the black female Democrat over the white male Republican.

Anyone dumb enough to take the January 6 committee seriously would probably also take an experimental, emergency use only, gene therapy treatment to try and prevent a virus with over a 99.9% survival rate.
I have always felt the January 6th stuff was very much exaggerated by the left/media. I do not see it as an insurrection, nor was it a threat to democracy. It was a bunch of idiots invading the Capitol with no idea what they were going to do next.
With that said, it also wasn't a "peaceful protest", as it involved the forced entry into a restricted government building. These people should be prosecuted, but at the same time, it's insane to me that the libs see this as a more serious matter than the 2020 BLM riots, which lasted months, and which were applauded/excused by many left wing figures.
