Felt like the smartest guy in the room when he led round 1. Even cashed a ticket or two on it but really thought the tournament was well within reach. As it turns out was just super lucky he ran hot.

Three I like for the players

Hideki owes me one. It was one year ago he shot the course record on day one and ducking asshole Rory bitched he wanted to go home so they shut down the tournament. All they had to do was finish round 2 and it would have been official and my 30-1 tickets would have cashed. He’s got a history here which is a major factor here (with the exception of when my homeboy SW Kim won at 500-1). +3300 I’m in

JT shouldn’t be +2000 here.

And I can’t believe I’m going to do this but Jordan has been in the top 3 of every tournament he’s played in the last few weeks. He has a history of doing well here. +3000 is a bit of a steal.

Right now I’m just caught in between and just can’t get the timing right. Rory and Tommy have really cost me since I’ve been doing this. A lot of exposure on that Irish (sort of) prick last week and that 6th hole was a real kick to the gut. I’m late to the party this week. Plan on getting all my bets in late tonight.

I haven’t bet this week yet other than Hideki. I think you have three solid outright plays here. Hideki for sure after getting fucked after the first round last year.

JT is a guy I always say I’m happy to put my money on. The sponsorship stuff with Ralph Lauren and then the death really seem to shake him up for a bit, but he showed signs of coming out of it the week before last. Great value at +2000. I love the play the more and more I have thought about it.

Jordan I am going to shop apps and see if I can get him at 30-1 or so. There is no doubt with him being constantly in contention that he will eventually have a decent enough Sunday to get it done.

The guy I know I’m going to throw in now is Webb Simpson (+2200). Really solid and dependable to be around (and in decent spot)for the weekend. Been playing well for a while now. I can see him putting things together. Not in love with the value but at least validates others are having similar thoughts.

FYI the books REALLY don't want you betting over on this game, as they've jacked the line up 3 points yesterday and 4 more today. So on the one hand, you're getting a 7 point worse line than the opening, which I know makes badguy23 and chinamaniac cringe.

He and the Spurs have agreed to "part ways". He has had a hard time getting along with coach Popovich. Aldridge hasn't been particularly good lately, so these bets aren't toast, but I would have much rather had him in the lineup. However, I will say that the Spurs have done better without him starting than with him starting, so there's that.

Interestingly, Alridge's departure only moved the line 0.5 for the Mavs, and the total actually stayed about the same, and in fact slightly moved up (it's 227 at some books now).

I’m going to be optimistic (for as long as you can betting golf) and hoping they look at this is an opportunity. I would hate myself if I bet on Rory again. I just wish I had the foresight to fade him as well. X is pretty baffling to play this bad.

In addition, the Magic are missing Ennis, Fournier, Anthony, Isaac, Fultz, and Ross. While the Heat are down Meyers Leonard (for being an anti-Semite) and Bam Adebayo (knee injury), they're in much better shape overall.

Most importantly, due to the shorthandedness of the Magic, and the return of Gordon, several players will be in positions they're not used to playing. It will be a mess.

Not much of a suspension. He was already out for season. Only reason they haven’t cut him is the hope to use his salary as filler in a trade. Arison is actually catching a lot of heat(no pun intended) locally for not already cutting him.
