Watching Dodgers game right now, Max Muncy (who isn't originally from LA) is wearing purple and gold shoes to honor him.
Still haven't made it out to the crash site, but I will try to get there soon and will post any interesting pics.
Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead
Nobody with a brain gives a shit about some overpaid hoopster involved in the weakest form of entertainment.
I will take a deaf ventriloquist any day over some unchecked 3 pointer. Throw your ball from half court for all I care. That’s where it’s heading. You must 6’6” or you can’t even drive the bus.

Three stupid errors were found on the statue of Kobe Bryant outside Staples Center (I'm not calling it crypto.com). The box score of Kobe's iconic 81-point game was printed on the statue, but the idiot doing it made 3 stupid mistakes. This was shared on March 10 by a German journalist on Twitter:

Toronto opponents Jose Calderon and Von Wafer's names were misspelled as Jose Calderson and Vom Wafer. Most embarrassingly, "DNP - Coach's Decision" was misspelled as "DNP - Coach's Decicion".
:fail
The errors are slated to be fixed sometime soon, according to ESPN: https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...om-arena-fixed
Interesting that Bryant's teammate Smush Parker's name is listed on the statue honoring him. Parker was one of the players Bryant singled out publicly for having been awful, when explaining why he didn't win more championships with the Lakers. In a 2012 interview, Bryant said, "Smush Parker was the worst. He shouldn't have been in the NBA, but we were too cheap to pay for a point guard. We let him walk on."
Parker then claimed two years later that Kobe had arrogantly told him not to talk to him at practice.
According to Parker after Bryant's death, he and Kobe never got to reconcile. But he's on his statue now.
I am not a basketball fan or a Kobe Bryant fan, but good job to his daughter on her graduation. I am sure its been a hard road for her. Lets also not forget all of the other non-celebrity lives that were lost that day.
The spirit of Kobe Bryant lives on as his oldest daughter graduates from USC. ❤️ The 22-year-old graduated this week from the USC School of Cinematic Arts with Cum Laude honors. Vanessa Bryant shared a photo of her daughter on Instagram showing Kobe's "Black Mamba" logo embroidered on Natalia's stole. https://abc7.la/4dnLqgd
