You are taking things out of context. Everyone that has watched Trump over the last 2 years knows he said the link to Trump/Russia was the hoax, not Russia interfering, which they have done since the 1950s.

Friday announcement was a total dud, which is why the argument has shifted to "Mueller is holding something back" as if there is going to be a grand announcement in a few weeks. I think in a couple weeks this whole Russia-Trump probe will close for good.

I follow hurricanes intensely and almost obsessively in the peak months. I am not a meteorologist obviously, but part of a group that follows hurricanes. There is always a temptation by all of us to get a Cat 3 Hurricane to a Cat 5 even if the data says otherwise. You are always referred to as a "wishcaster" when this happens. Same thing here with Trump and Russia.

in fairness, the link i posted shows the full paragraph of what trump said. it wasn't out of context. if the mueller indictment was a dud, as you say, any idea why trump's having a twitter meltdown about it?

another honest question that i have no good answer for is why hasn't trump come out saying that he's outraged by what russia did and will work to prevent it from ever happening again? that would seem to pacify the left/media and make it more credible that there was no collusion.

the only possibilities i have come up with are: 1) that he just doesn't believe it, which seems dumb based on everything we've learned; or 2) or that he is so insecure that he feels that if he says that russia interfered, it will somehow invalidate his election, which is also dumb.
