Revealed: Amy Coney Barrett lived in home of secretive Christian group's co-founder
The revelation offers new clues about the possible influence of the People of Praise, and one of its leaders, on a woman who may shape the direction of the supreme court for the next 40 to 50 years. Barrett has said she is a “faithful Catholic” but that her religious beliefs would not “bear in the discharge of my duties as a judge”
Public records – and a record of a speeding ticket – show that Barrett’s husband, Jesse, apparently also lived in the home in the years before their 1999 marriage. The public records examined by the Guardian show where individuals receive their mail, including bills. It is difficult, based on the records alone, to determine when precisely individuals lived in the residence. The database shows no other residence for Amy Barrett at that time.

MAGAheads, if you want to bet money on Republicans and not throw your money away, Bullock is currently trading in the mid-40s in the Montana Senate Race. I recommend betting against this. I believe Daines, the Republican, will win here or at the very least is undervalued at these prices.
If you're a Biden better, this is a good hedge. I sniped some at 53 cents, but moved the line down. I still think it's good value.
Nope. Biden doing better with senior citizens, he will win Florida. The only state I'd consider betting Trump is Iowa. You can consider Georgia too, as it gets closer to 50/50. Otherwise I'd rather buy some senate Republicans. Lindsey Graham is decent value too. Alaska looks tempting, but it may be a trap. 5 igloo tribes can easily swing the result.
The caveat being, if Trump takes another turn for the worse, you need to sell all your Republican shares. Don't let open orders sit too long.

Well done. Hopefully a lot more Republicans will get the coronavirus and die. Good riddance motherfuckers.
More Republican Senators need to get coronavirus especially Mitch McConnell that motherfucker has to go.
If not there is going to be a lot more protesting and violence in Kentucky.
Democrats need to understand that this is war.
They need to destroy these Republican dumbfucks for good.

The fact that Democrats don’t see how they are in a lock step march with Russia 1917 is hilarious.
I literally fall over laughing every time someone mentions Russia and Trump.
Good luck with your walk to “communism” or “socialism” let me know how that authoritarianism you grant works out for all of you.

Much like the (somewhat fair) criticism that Americans were giving up too many rights to privacy and personal freedom during the 2000s post-9/11 era, many people supporting Democrats don't understand that they are rubber-stamping the authority to fundamentally remake America. This is being done under the guise of "fighting racism", "achieving equality", "protecting LGBT rights", and "making sure everyone has healthcare and access to college".
All of these on their own seem like noble goals, much like fighting terrorism seemed like a noble goal in the 2000s. However, the process in doing so needs to be well-founded and based upon correct data, not simply an emotional reaction to a perceived immediate crisis.
As I've said many times, Democrats often feel too much and think too little.
Outside the fabulously wealthy or those in the media, most Democrats are dysfunctional life losers. Most are not even Democrats, they are just people angry at their own plight and mistakes.
I went through a tough spell almost 15 years ago. I never blamed anyone but myself. A liberal blames everyone else for their lot in life. It's just the way it is. A left wing lunatic marching in Portland will blame Trump if he gets coronavirus, he will never blame himself.
It's hard to believe people who are making above $50,000 a year side with AOC and that Omar lady. But poverty does that. I am just glad I am not poor.
Believe it or not, a lot of Democrats aren't life losers. Some of them are, but some of them are very successful.
I've found that Democrats tend to come in three flavors:
1) Life losers who blame "the system" for their own failures, or discrimination if they're part of one of the currently accepted victim groups.
2) Very successful people who enjoy the spoils of their success, but at the same time feel guilty about their high-end lifestyle when they know there's a large portion of the country struggling. Voting Democrat and supporting left-wing causes makes them feel absolved of their sins of wealth. After all, why feel bad about your extravagant lifestyle if you're supporting causes and politicians claiming to "help" the less fortunate, right? For this demographic, it's more about feeling good about oneself than actually doing anything tangible to help.
3) People brainwashed by large institutions (colleges, unions, etc) or family, to believe that Democrats are the "good guys" fighting for the common man, and Republicans are either evil, cigar-chomping, greedy assholes, or brainless religious sheep.
I guess there's also a #4 now.
4) People who were mostly center politically, but have been pushed to the left either by Trump's outrageous behavior or the media's overreaction to Trump's behavior (or both).
#5 which are people that just hate themselves for their life failures so they have to blame someone else. It goes both ways, I am sure there is a Republican out there pissed off at the world because his lawn cutting business is suffering, but mostly it's Democrats hating life and blaming others because they are poor. At the end of the day, a loser is a loser. From my experience, most poor people that vote are fat white women with noserings who stand outside with BLM signs at intersections.
It's also intellectually lazy to be on the left, because Democrats paint the fight for "equality" to be far simpler and less nuanced than it actually needs to be, and therefore they have claimed the moral high ground on all of these issues.
"Women deserve equal pay!"
"Abortion gives women control over their bodies! Leave the decisions between women and their doctors!"
"Black lives matter! How many more racist killings by cops before we do something?"
"Stop school shootings! Enough already!"
"Love is love! Protect gay rights!"
"We must stop discrimination and violence against trans people!"
"Health care is a human right!"
It's hard to argue with any of these without sounding like a callous asshole. And since Democrats take positions where extreme (and often counter-productive) measures are needed in order to "fix" these issues, Republicans often find themselves on the other side of these arguments, and it wrongly appears that Republicans just want to oppress everyone and let people die.
So it's really easy to say you support all of the above, and that Democrats are trying to pass laws to make all of the above happen, so you support them. Never mind the details, never mind whether these laws will accomplish anything, never mind the unfortunate side-effects which can be worse than the problems themselves. It's just important to feel like you're voting to help the downtrodden, right?
This is why I've always been a Republican. I don't believe in legislation borne from emotion. I don't believe in performative caring. I don't believe in fixing one problem while creating a bigger one.
The BLM movement is a good example of this. Many claim to support it, but what are the goals? What are the proposed changes? How are these changes expected to have an overall positive result? We don't get any of that. Just black lives matter, right? SAY IT!
Speaking of people with BLM signs at intersections...
