Here's another moneyline, coming sooner (4:05pm PT).
Detroit already burned me once against the 76ers, but this time they don't have to face Embiid, who just always destroys them (and the other day was no exception).
On the down side, Rose is out. However, Blake Griffin is back, which would be better news 10 years ago, but still should be a plus.
Detroit +170 vs. Philadelphia

Charlotte had a tremendous comeback yesterday, and edged Orlando. In this back-to-back rematch, the difference is that Gordon has returned, and Orlando will seek to avenge their 4th quarter meltdown.
Orlando -1 vs. Charlotte (-1.5 ok)

Alright last week was tough with Tony. I'm going second chalk in both tournaments. Both these guys were in contention in Abu Dabi and both are starving for a win. Let's hope one of them does.

Edit: Rory not a bad pick. A big indicator at this track is a top 10 finish the previous year. Rory has that going for him. The price is thin but what really worries me is the flight back from the Middle East.

Anyone who follows my NBA picks may notice a different pattern this season.
I've decided to go with a more moneyline-heavy strategy for dogs, and then continue with my usual totals and small-medium spread favorites where applicable.
This is also kind of a unique season due to these weird back-to-back games with the same team / same venue / same opponent. Also the NBA has somewhat changed with the new prevalence of stars being rested (seemingly invented by Kawhi Leonard.)
Anyway, we'll see how my moneyline thing works out, as in previous seasons I mostly didn't do that, and stuck to just spreads & totals.
Both my Orlando and Detroit games are looking good at the moment, but neither is a blowout, so still sweating them. Chicago starts at 6:05, so you still have about 30 min to get in on it.
2-0 start. Orlando and Detroit both won fairly easily. Detroit was +170 so that was nice.
Now I just need Chicago to recover from their slow start!

BTW I would have laid off of the Houston pick if Westbrook were playing a full game. I think he's going to play with a vengeance in his return to Houston, but playing only half the game, and missing several players due to COVID, there's only so much he can do.

Mizzou is 10-2 and ranked #12 for a reason. They are coming off a dominant road performance vs #6 Tennessee. Sure there is the opportunity for a let down game, but Mizzou has looked super sharp since an 11 day Xmas break. Auburn has been much better since getting Sharife Cooper back for the 2nd semester. But Mizzou is the much better team in this spot. Mizzou is led by 5 seniors vs Auburn playing 4 freshman quite a bit.Quote:

I was expecting a -3 or -4 line. When I saw +3 I knew the ML was the juicy choice.
