Stick your finger in that light socket.
I never knew about that last wrinkle. They had a rake back scheme going if you increased the number of hands played.Quote:
Unlike the rest of the world, China-based exchanges are unique in that they do not charge fees on bitcoin trades. Instead they make money via withdrawal charges out of the exchange. Further, these fees reduce as your trading volume increases, so this incentivizes traders to bolster this figure by buying and selling from themselves at zero cost.
We knew about the fake trades and exchanges taking positions against their customers but the whole fuzzy nature of the actual trading just grows and grows with every retelling of the story.
Looks like they want it to go up and if you want to throw in with the crooks for now you prolly can't lose... until you do.
If the SEC approves the BTC ETF's I will be absolutely floored.
Lol tineaments.
Im not saying it isn't a scam, im just saying its going to hit 1400, like i said, after that who the fuck knows.
But hopefully it doesn't crash anytime soon, watching sonatine defend his fail prediction is fucking hysterical.
$1191
Sonatine,
You will be eventually proven right but the time frame is impossible to predict. The bitcoin mania is no different than the baseball card mania and beanie baby mania that took place a few decades ago. People fear missing out on making money and they will pay any price to get in on the action. When the party eventually ends, historians will be writing articles about how crazy people were to buy some fictional currency. Just like they wrote about how crazy people were to buy tulips at insane prices in the 1600's.
It's crashing now $1124 and dipping
Ok it updated lol, still not donkdown tho.
So........A new variant of ransomeware that is making its rounds has been designed to encrypt and hold ransom the private keys of bitcoins that corporations have been hoarding in the case of a ransomware attack.
I can't even find a Harrington gif or vid to express myself.
Anyone interested in a $10 bet that the SEC does not approve the Winklevoss ETF on March 11th or before?
I am escrowed with Druff. He or I will ship in Bitcoin although pricing the transaction will be difficult in a falling market.
There is something which I've dubbed The Mr Robot Effect, where security researchers wag the industry dogs for attention; eg the malware/RAT that came out that was nothing but a shitty imitation of darkcomet but had tons of references to Mr Robot in it, including that fucking awful movie reference splash screen.
Obviously had zero point zero opsec potential but because it referenced a trending pop culture reference, some CEH faggots got their moment in the spotlight.
I expect, strongly, that this is of at least a similar genetic origin, given the lack of homogeny with regards to where those keys are located and how useless it is to decrypt something thats so obviously going to be backed up in multiple physical locations.
And yet, here we are, talking about it.
I'm predicting a run to $5000+
until trump properties accept btc, i'd not count on it
Riddle
Limit poker player walks into a convenience store and purchases a can of Diet Coke for a dollar with bitcoin. His fees are 32 cents.
Was his purchase made with a currency or was this a nonscaled fee based money transfer?
Until this riddle can be hashed to "currency" the SEC votes no.
Remember btc podcasts supported by 5 and 10 cent micropayments? They are just a memory including BTC micropayments.
Two untimely events:
SHA1 has been hacked.
Cloudflare was hacked. Turns out it was a repository of a great number of BTC exchange logins.
