Agreed, and an excellent example of why context is so important when quoting people.
I still think it was cringy, but it certainly wasn't mean spirited and he was clearly joking.
biden just endorsed bernie while throwing pete under a bus over his total lack of traction with black voters.
Perfect example of what's wrong with your little Bernie cult. You don't actually give a shit about anything other than power and your little pinko revolution.
You're dead set on fucking this up for the rest of us, the left's version of Trumpsters except way way worse IMO.
Fuck Bernie bros and fuck Bernie Sanders.
Why am I responding to Mumbles? Please disregard and carry on.
Tony, in a poll conducted in late January among Texas voters, Bernie has the best support among the Dem candidates versus Trump, and the *only* Dem candidate to have more support among *independent* voters than Trump.
New Poll Shows Sanders Is Trump's Most Formidable Foe in "So-Called Red State" of Texas

So, all the talk coming from folks like Druff and Blake that Sanders will turn off too many independent voters, resulting in Trump getting re-elected, is not supported by the facts.Quote:
Sanders was ahead of the president among independent voters, with 44% support versus 41%, and voters under age 30, with 57% of young Texans selecting the senator as their favorite.
"All three Democrats, aside from Sanders, lost independents to Trump in this poll, basically 60 to 30 or so with the rest of them unsure," Josh Blank, research director for Texas Lyceum, told The Hill.
Guess who will massively suppress minority turnout for the Dems in the general election if he is their candidate versus Trump.
Especially after Trump destroys him on the matter in a debate.

Why has Christie been so quiet about all this till now?
It's finally over, winner of the Iowa caucuses 14 delegates to Bernie's 12...White Obama.

As a debater or public speaker I think Pete handled that surprise left hook with remarkable aplomb. He was deadpan with his facial expression.
I haven’t watched any of the replays since. When you see slow motion replays during penalty challenges in the NFL you are often misled as to what is a catch or football move. You gotta watch at game speed in real time. I was very impressed.
I am just continuing to rank Mayor Pete as a top tier slick public speaker. This rookie has skills.
I wouldn’t vote for him but I recognize game.
A fantasy heads up with Trump would be something to argue over a beer. We will have to leave it to our imagination
Klobuchar 50/1 to win dem nom, she has a shot if biden drops out. Bernie new favorite in SC btw LOL @ DAN DRUFF

It's over for Joe Biden.
If only Obama had backed him up and endorsed his campaign then he would've been the frontrunner.
Instead he is in 4th place with six delegates.
South Carolina won't save Joe Biden.
By the time "Super-Tuesday" comes around the malarkey express will be out of gas and Joe's campaign for President will be over.

“Wall Street” Pete’s campaign copied Obama’s strategy of focusing on rural counties because, like the Electoral College, they get more state delegates allocated to them than urban counties than per popular vote.

Even so, it’s still fucked up that Iowa Dem Party will “award” Buttigieg about 17% more pledged delegates than Bernie (14 versus 12) when Buttigieg has less than 0.5% more SDEs than Bernie per their “official 100%” reporting (564 versus 562). What kind of fucked up math is the Iowa Dem Party officials using to justify such a bullshit allocation?
