I'm so stupid for answering you... I must like the punishment....
I don't like either candidate #1. I don't trust Hillary, I don't like her personality and I don't think she is a particularly good person. Our election system has left me with 2 choices, and I have to choose one if I want my vote to count for anything. Much like Odysseus I have to choose between 2 evils. The only reason Hillary is considered more a centrist among liberals is that she is not very tough on Wall Street and has opposed many of the stricter regulations.
I have to take experience into account as well. If this were a job interview and you had to choose between only these 2 people for the job, Hillary is far more qualified. She has been First Lady, a Federal Senator and Secretary of State. You might disagree with some of her positions or strategy while she occupied those positions but the wealth of knowledge is invaluable. She is prepared and knows what the job entails.
However, I strongly dislike her. I don't think it is right that the same families keep getting into power in this country and I would prefer for that to not be the case.
Donald Trump is a business man. He is an amazing marketer, he knows how to sell himself and just about any brand. When it comes to actually running a company though, he has fallen short time and time again. He is not a good leader and he does not come off as intellectually savvy. He is a terrible manager and that is what is needed to be a good president. I also feel he is a terrible person, a racist, a bigot and a sexist. I feel he is thin skinned and his delicate ego has been documented many times by people who have interviewed him. He constantly begs people to not ask him difficult questions.
His need for constant approval and his fragile ego are main reasons why I find him unelectible.
With all that said, I would vote for almost ANYONE other than Hillary Clinton. Donald Trump just happens to be one of the very few people I would not vote for over Hillary (Ted Cruz and Bush would be other examples). If Paul Ryan was in the race I would vote for him over Hillary even though our views on social issues are wildly different. I dislike Hillary that much. But I was given these choices.
I like to say that I feel that there is a FAR lower chance that Hillary gets a little too excited during a speech and calls the President of Mexico a spic or drops the N-bomb than Trump. I also think that on foreign affairs whether or not I have agreed with some of her decisions, at least she knows what the fuck she is talking about. At least she doesn't say crazy shit like "I'm going to build a wall," and Mexicans can't judge me.... Trump is just comically bad.
