ali nejad is pathologically unprofessional and until they deal with their nejad problem, this is a toxic life-asset and im dumping it.
if i see bill perkins name pop up enough time in the seat assignments, i might renew membership two or three times a year and binge, but the thought that any of my hard earned money is going to encourage ali nejad to continue his one ring circus of frat-tard mediocrity turns my stomach in the most totally literal sense.
recently subscribed to pokergo and so far its worth the $10 a month. Talk the talk show with Dentale Hawkins Danielle Anderson Antonio was quite entertaining . I think Dentale wears his hat at the table because somewhere down the line someone might have called him out either in a forum or in person on wearing a wig or getting hair plugs . Just my opinion i could be wrong . He did not wear his hat during the Cate Hall heads up match and a few comments on YT alluded to the fact that the hair on his head does not belong to him. On another note Maurice Hawkins is like a little kid who craves attention at the table. When the rest of the table began to ignore him he slowly shut his trap. When he began losing his money (twp buy in's 40k total) he shut up altogether When Hawkins left the table to go home he said goodbye to a few players at the table Dentale was not one of them and Antonio walked away making believe he had a phone call so he wouldnt have to say good bye. The highlight of the show in my opinion was Danielle lecturing Dentale about the fact that he could have thrown out the small chewed piece of gum he removed from his mouth in the garbage instead of placing it near her drink which was behind the both of them.(pic enclosed) In the second show Danielle left the table for a few minutes and when she returned she said she had to put on deodorant . Hawkins asked her what kind of deodorant does she use . She looked at him kind of odd " I dont pay attention to brand names"
The dead money show with Garret Bob Bright Berkey etc was another good one. Berkey could drop a million and it wouldnt phase him one bit Old fart Bob Bright came off as a sulking sore loser with that big frown on his face losing pot after pot. You can read these guys minds knowing as soon as they win its all chatter when they lose they clam shut and refrain from joining in the conversation . When Garret lost a pot to Bright , Garret fist pumps Bright "nice hand" Bright fist pumped back as though it was the first time this 77yr old fart fist pumped anyone . I guess back in his day it was a hand shake When Garret lost another pot to Bright he fist pumped him again. I was saying to myself would Bright pay kudos to Garret if he lost a pot to him? Hell fuckin no . Garret finally wisened up after losing a third pot to Bright but this one was over 100K Finally no fist pump to the old fart this time around
Gus Hansen suppose to be on tomorrow for some PLO but too bad it's not today as well.
With Hansen and Matt Kirk the game could make this worth watching.

Does Antonio bother anyone else? I know he changed his name from Amir Esfandiari to Antonio Esfandiari to be more "sexy." Then he had a major nose job (before poker fame). His nose is still formidable, though, somehow, post-nose-job. He also had a "club" called "Rocks and Rings" where he and his buddies went to clubs in Vegas and thought they were "sexy."
Also, all of his old hackneyed, overplayed High Stakes Poker dialogue where he called people "Doctor" or yelled "I love America!"
The guy, in my opinion, is the nut low, in terms of cool.
^^^ -A lot of players are annoying but you need one or two in the game otherwise you have a bunch of internet robots playing.
That reminds me I have to cancel my subscription which I was going to do a few times now and come back in two months when WSOP is here or maybe before SHRB. They don't have any more PAD until after WSOP and the next few events are just some WPTs I could careless about with the next one over 3 weeks away.
i think antonio has a schtick and that schtick became his brand and now we're all kinda stuck with it.
i find it the least terrible of all the poker celeb schtrickbrands tho.
and i also think that he feels obligated to turn it on specifically on pad because on any given night, half the seats are filled by carp-eyed and spiteful life losers.

I'm not sure I see any problem with either of these positions, considering the difference between a broke or flush poker pro is often sponsorship.

Poker Central will open a 10,000-square-foot studio and esports broadcast venue next month in a partnership with MGM Resorts International.
The poker content network, which produces “Super High Roller Bowl,” “Poker Masters” and “U.S. Poker Open” will open the PokerGo Studio next door to Aria at CityCenter with broadcasts of “Poker After Dark” on May 16 and 17. The company also is planning a four-day, $300,000 buy-in “Super High Roller Bowl” poker event beginning May 27.
The company and MGM did not disclose terms of the partnership arrangement which also includes ESP Gaming, a competitive gaming content creation company.
The venue, which is owned and operated by Poker Central, will have space for nine poker tables with an occupancy of up to 300 people, including space for over 100 fans and spectators. The PokerGo Studio also will feature multiple sound stages, a main studio, a break desk and a streaming lounge, which will provide flexibility to host a variety of poker and esports events. The PokerGo Studio will be open to the public on an event-by-event basis.
