Trump's recent maternity leave speech was complete bullshit, but it gets him the headline "Trump speaks on maternity leave and childcare affordability in PA". Since most people don't read past the headline, that makes him look like a serious Presidential candidate.
I think Trump is going to look like a complete fool in the debates, but who knows. Maybe Roger Ailes will figure out a way to make him pay attention and actually prepare.
