But to give you a fair shake on your knowledge of the history of politics regarding accumulated wealth and its deleterious effects on fairness in a society, give a brief outline of who Tiberius and Gaius Gracchus were, and why they are important historical figures relevant to the political merit of an estate tax.

This is such an odd, weird argument. And I hear it all the time. It's like you've never heard of sales tax or something.

And a lot of the estate tax is actually taxing something for the first time. I really got an education in the 2012 election when Romney released one year of taxes and he paid 12%. It was on 40 million, so a lot of tax, but I was very surprised that it was such a low percentage.

Imagine there's one of those famous rich families of several generations and the patriarch is 90 right now. How much tax do you think that money has been subjected to? The system is already rigged for these rich fuckers anyway. These are the people that got the bailout of 2009. So pay the tax, fuckers.

Finally, a President with the balls and wherewithal to blackmail these sick fucks into doing the right thing.......or atleast start to do the right thing............

Meh. Just standard partisan politics. I don't see the Democrats taking the high road unless absolutely necessary if it might cost them an important seat of power.

I mean Harvey Weinstein was very prominent in Democratic circles, and it seems everyone knew to some extent his MO, and everyone was more or less ok with it until it became politically expedient to cut ties and turn on him.

Politics necessarily involves a lot of expediency and looking the other way. Just the nature of the beast. And most of the indignation, when there is any, is just insincere partisan politics when there is an advantage to be had somewhere.

I mean look at Weiner. I am sure the Dems knew a lot more about what was going on with him than they let on, and there was probably a lot of secret damage control meetings strategizing what to do about it, and no-one really turned on him until they felt they politically had to.

Anyways, I am not saying I could stomach what goes on in politics. I doubt I could. I am not a political monster. But it sounds like you have a very (self-serving) naive idealized notion of how politics works. Does the fact she was a virgin and the baby was (allegedly) immaculately conceived make it ok for a 90 year old man to marry and sire a child with a 12 year old? I would guess that still falls under the "being a piece of shit who condones child molestation" moniker as defined by Suicide King.
