Grossberg was a low level producer at FNC. One has to ask why Grossberg has so much tape of behind the scenes events at FNC. I think it was a set up. But she is going to be hard pressed to show any tape of Tucker making sexist comments, or any comments at all. That's because Tucker was never in the Fox studios. He worked from home. FNC wants to squash Tucker like a bug. They want him silenced. He knows it. The leaked stories about "oppo files" and such are part of FNC's diabolical plan to silence Tucker. With that "oppo" story they were signalling to Tucker that he better stay quiet or else.
But Tucker has come out swinging. In the tweet that Dwai put up Tucker is telling us what subjects he plans to cover in the future. These are all areas the media doesn't want covered by anyone truthful. The key line to me is the last line where Tucker says "See you soon." Tucker is signalling FNC that he will not tolerate them trying to silence him. He is also signalling to his 6.4 million Twitter followers that he plans to go digital.
Tucker, along with Don Lemon, has hired a high profile no nonsense lawyer, Bryan Freedman, to represent him in negotiations with FNC. I took a look around the internet on Freedman. The reactions by media people about Tucker hiring Freedman is "Wow!!!" Freedman is known as a dirty son of a bitch. Which is what it takes to get results against corporate media dirty sons of bitches. Get out the popcorn.

It's not like Bill O'Reilly, who was clearly guilty of sexual harassment, so most viewers understood why he was dumped. Also, O'Reilly had the highest average viewership age of anyone on TV (something like 73, if I remember correctly), so these people were unlikely to take to social media to complain about his firing.
Tucker's firing does not have a clear reason to it, and he also has a lot of appeal to middle-aged conservatives -- not just old people.
He's also become the most major face of conservative media. You can't just unceremoniously dump someone like that, as if they're yesterday's trash. There are consequences, and Fox is about to feel them.

He was prolly coached about Ukraine yet he was becoming more outspoken and off script. Ukraine and neoconservativism is a line in the sand with Murdoch. It was his life’s work and he has invested millions in outfits like Heritage.
Tucker’s insubordination definitely caused a rash response. Very unprofessional on Fox part and just dumb business to part with Tucker in the manner that they did.
