Bottom line, up until this point we have a few people who lied and deserve slaps on their wrist and a fine etc... not the party ending Dems or Mueller want. Nailing a few rogue agents of Trumps is a LOSS if that's how it ends.

This country has been bought and paid for for over 200 years, nothing is new and a few Trump guys talking to Russia and it never leading to anything is a drop in the bucket of how dirty things generally are.

anyway, i don't think the end game has ever been impeachment. it's to have this investigation open going into 2020 (with a possible impact on 2018) so that trump just resigns or doesn't run. obv if the house flips democrat in 2018, he's getting impeached whether he deserves it or not.
in the meantime, trump gets so embroiled in scandal, that legislators won't work with him. (this turned out to be unnecessary as republicans already won't work with him.)
