Just because it's truth doesn't mean life is fair thus he'll get a fair share. These guys chose to punch and get punched in the face for a living, not too many people pay you millions for that so what they pay is what they pay.

The problem then lies in him wanting ~30% of the gross. That will lead to Conor wanting 50% of the gross. Those are revenue figures before the venue is paid, the ppv providers are paid, the other figures are paid, promoting the fights etc. You are correct on the fact that mma fighters have been underpaid historically, but to make up for it by overpaying that mongoloid is unthinkable.
I don't even know why Conor is going to bother going back to MMA at this point. It's going to feel really awful only making 5-10 mill for a fight.
When GSP beats Bisbing maybe he can fight him for that belt.
If I'm the UFC, I want him defending belts and fighting 2x per year to help boost PPVs. But I just don't see it happening.
conor also genuinely loves to fight.
This idea that Conor can box and make a lot more than he makes in the UFC won't workout for two reasons. First, the UFC has him under contract and wont allow it. Second, he isn't a good enough boxer. The top young guys will destroy him, maybe he could sneak one more payday out of an old pillow fisted guy like Malignaggi but no chance McGregor steps in the ring with guys like GGG and Canelo and that's where the paydays are at. There are no paydays for Conor in boxing other than Floyd.
De la Hoya yapping he would knock McGregor out in 2 rounds.
AKA he wants in on the money truck, but I don't see it happening.
This PPV wasn't worth half the standard price and now they should just cancel it being on PPV outright calling up their friends at Fox Sports about having them air it even if it's on FS2.
I've watched a ton of shitty UFC cards over the years but this is one not even worth my time to go find links for cuz it's that bad.
It was arguably an interesting UFN based on the Nunes fight, and even Dana swore Nunes would never headline again.
JFC is WMMA a joke.
How does anybody get submitted from there? McMann, who actually fought for the title at one point, is a fucking joke just like all WMMA.
cormier is in the best mood ever since jones obliterated his own career.
Just got friend (casual fan) text me asking if I am watching the fights tonight. Had no idea what they were. Apparently he wants to see nunes lose. WMMA title fights are clearly big with casuals...
Melendez got some weak legs and leg kick defense.
i love all the suckdicking @ jeremy they do because hes soooooo great at beating up a guy with one leg for 12 minutes.
Cejudo looked good tonight in the midget division
Cejudo always look good against everyone but mightymouse. it is known.
the magny / rda fight intrigues me. post-usada rda should get lit up by magny but if rda shows some spine here, its super division relevant.
also as a fighter i love ferguson but as a guy constantly whining about not being able to get a money fight against nate or conor, watching him lose his mind over having to fade kevin lee because diaz and conor want to fight for a third time instead is fucking hilarious.
That was quick and uneventful.
RDS needed that win but I don't think he's got a chance at winning the welterweight belt if he even gets a chance to fight for it.
the audience sounds like they are one bad round away from tearing apart the cage and gang raping whatever they can get their hands on.
oh also this fight is fucking awful.
amanda is not fighting the fight that got her this far.
this is a UFN undercard fight basically.
whats so infuriating is that amanda is scared of something that doesnt exist. shes refusing to engage, why? she's had nothing to lose for 2 fucking rounds and she just stands there pawing at schevchenko's right hand for 30 seconds at a time, while zero chance shes getting knocked out, 100% chance she loses if she doesnt land hard and flush.
absolute garbage fight.
The most exciting part was the two seconds after the bell rang in the 5th round when Valentia kicked Amanda and gave her the finger
amanda was my big money play tonight but even i know that was a garbage decision.
she lost rds 2/3/4 and it wasnt close.
oh cool a brazillian making excuses.
Actually thought about it & realize I don't give a flying fuck.
she got super weirdly into justifying why she had to pull out of the last fight, instead of addressing her fucking pathetic performance tonight.
like no one needed to hear it, everyone understands how serious a sinus infection is, so why is she waxing poetic about how awful and dangerous it was instead of devoting some air time to how she failed to actually fight until the 21st minute this evening.
Not like any of us had doubts this would happen the B sample confirms banned substance for Jones.

The article says his team is investigating how the steroid got in his system.. lol alright
:laterfag
What do you think happened with Jones. I guess there is 3 options.
1. He purposefully was using steroids and knew he would get caught.
2. He purposefully was using steroids and thought he was doing something to beat the system so he would pee clean.
3. He really did "accidentally" take steroids.
All else being equal it seems option 2 is the most plausible. If that is the case what do you think went wrong? How is it that most fighters (who probably are all on something) can figure out how to not get caught but he apparently can't.
I think Chael Sonnen said this, and its an interesting take. He figures that Jones was 100% on the juice, but that even Jones himself didn't think he was ever on TBol. He was just probably getting his shit on the black market, which is likely to be contaminated with any number of other drugs including/instead of the one you think you are actually getting. He wanted X, and got x with some y mixed in, even if only in traces.
The Netflix doc, Icarus, is an awesome doc about drug testing in sports, WADA, and the incredible story of the guy who ran the RUSADA doping ring. Not MMA, obv, but well worth the time. Starts about a cyclist looking to Lance Armstrong himself with the best available help so he can perform like a monster and still pass a piss test, and goes from there.
