interesting nugget...
first three NBA games today blew the doors off the OVERS...totals were all set in the 220s or lower...
it's early in BOS/MLW, but they're trending OVER too...
obv we don't advocate for OVERS, but tempted to just blind fire the last 2 games today...still mulling it over...

interesting trend in these first 7 games...the lines are fucked IMO...
mentioned that in my earlier post that the first three games today blew over the total...celtics game should get there, but it will be close and the kings game right before half is looking like an over as well...
im data mining so here's what i got since the restart...5th column is the pregame Q1 O/U, 8th column is the actual Q1 total...
i think what im going to do moving forward is blindly fire on the Q1 overs until the lines are adjusted more towards 60...
i welcome any conversation about how this is good or fucking terrible...
So my boycott of NBA lasted exactly

Gambled and done DFS on pretty much every game so far.
Crazy thing, DK had this massive $4 GPP last night, and they missed the guarantee by ~$1 million, meaning that was the overlay. I did 150 lineups and they sucked (I had way too much Lebron exposure and way too little Reddick) but actually pulled a small profit because of the massive overlay.
Did some lineups for the massive GPP today. I think there was an overlay today too, but my lineups were a complete tire fire (too much Brooklyn and Magic, which was a blowout and everyone lost run) so just straight lost $$.
Interesting, think I'll ride it with you until it shifts Orrington crushed. 1Q defense has been mostly awful so far.Quote:

i only wish i didnt bet those last full game overs small...
will post the Q1 lines when i wake up...unless something massively changes in the way they set their lines ill just be firing one unit on each and taking it from there...that way if i get fucked it will only be with the tip and not with the full shaft...

Was feeling pretty demoralized with my 1-4 start, but the nice +173 win yesterday on Baltimore (which went pretty much the way I said it would) was encouraging.
Here's another one I like:
Angels (Cannings) +151 vs. Houston (Greinke)
Greinke hasn't looked right this year. Velocity is down, location was bad in his first start, and he had a fairly bad outing. He's close to 37 and might be having trouble getting going in this weird year.
Canning has a lot of potential and struck out a lot of batters in his only start, though he did give up 4 hits and 2 walks in less than 5 innings. Anyway, even though Trout won't be playing, I like the Angels here for +151. Don't be too bothered by their 2-6 record.
Angels +151 is an intriguing pick.
The only thing that gives me pause is no Trout and Ohtani simply cannot hit a change up - embarrassingly bad.
Astros bullpen is incredibly bad.
