I actually know several rich California Democrats like Fancy Nancy.
They love their money, love living well, love nice things, love the expensive private schools for their kids, love their safe neighborhoods with responsive/empowered police, and love the privilege their money gets them.
At the same time, they have an underlying guilt about the whole thing. Therefore, they vote Democrat, support all the woke causes, bash Trump, and they think this absolves them of their sins of excess.

so ive been deliberately avoiding the topic of polls vs betting lines but if you compare the two, there is an absolutely massive, inexplicable divergence at bar. and if you put a gun to my head and forced me to provide a thesis the best i could do is; leftists / centerists simply dont lay bets as much as conservatives / right wing.
and one of the things that makes this so noteworthy to me is that in the context of advantage market analysis, the single most consistently profitable indicator would almost certainly be divergences..
so yeah if youre laying actual money on trump, you should probably be doing so based on the high likelihood of biden rendering himself unelectable somehow between now and november. and even if you subscribe to that thesis you have to consider; is it already priced in?
remember that im the guy who stacked up on trump at +1250, im only concerned with profit taking here. as far as im concerned both the betting lines are absolute trash right now. but the physics of them are absolutely fascinating to me.
