PGA Championship Day 4!
Today will be the day that Jason Day wins his first major.
Its going to be a good one, that's for sure.
Day seems like a no-brainer being up 2.

risk $100.00 to win $130.00
donkeykilla, the second I placed my bet it jumped up to +130. Potential $7.50 missed, but it could have go other way. It has remained at +130 as of now.

*Edit* I just noticed you bet him to Win and not VS Speith for 4th round. If the wind was up or if they were expecting bad weather, I would have been all over that. I still like though.
I'm on some run boys...I didn't tip it because usually when I tip things they lose, but this was one of the bets of the century at 4/1...the guy scored a hattrick against them in the first game and he takes the penalties too...
After catching self not sticking to my plan within the past 2 weeks while betting Golf, I decided to slow down and re-group. I was annoyed that my "mock picks" were out performing my actual placed bets and thought it would be a good idea to "play volume" in terms or wagers placed. That's moronic and bookies will chew guys up betting like that. I got caught up in short term results and it seemed if as I was trying to force a turn around by hoping my 1 star picks would come threw, That's gambling! 1 stars are picks Id take if no juice were involved, but they won't beat juice. Before I started posting picks on the forum, it would be a rare occurrence for me to find 4 matches that I saw good potential in let alone picking 8 plays in back 2 back days. I looked over my recent results and am very satisfied with my #1 picks of day/week as I have been doing great with them.
Anyways, I joined a sports bettors website seeking advice on how to approach my picks more like a winner and not a punter. I know I'm picking winners more than losers for the season, but haven't been making the best of it. I never had a set betting structure for bankroll etc. I have been putting a lot of thought into this and until I have a more systematic approach, I will just keep a base bet of $100 flat and only bet top picks. I will also bet less -140+ matches as my results show that I'm finding better value under that range.
Thanks to the handful that have been following my weekly post and giving feedback etc. Constructive criticism is always welcomed.
Couldn't pass this up at these odds.

The Barclay's Day 2
T Finau -130 vs R Henley (Pick of Day)
B Snedeker +105 vs B Koepka
J Day -105 vs J Speith (little worried about his back issue, should be fine though)
Any questions/comments about a pick, shoot away
Barclays Round 3....
I feel great about Today's Pick and I probably should have another 100 on it, but I am working on learning a smarter way to approach picks and won't bump bets much higher until I have a set in stone "formula"
If anyone wants my analysis on the match up, feel free to ask.
Barlays Final Day Pick...
Besides the betting, Id like to see Ryan Palmer win after losing his father in a car wreck last week. I can't imagine playing after something tragic like that happening, gl to him.
My first college football bet of the year. Lets see if I get off to a good start or not.
TCU/Minnesota over 57
Oh yeah already off to a bad start with a few fumbles in the red zone costing me points. ROFL
I watched game until Minnesota fumbled ball at 1 yard line and almost got a touch back. Def was a shit show.
I almost took Minn getting 16 as I received a text from BOL saying "87% of the public is pounding #2 TCU(-14) Vs Minnesota." I went to site within a minute as I was on CPU and line was -16 and It just struck me as an odd text as I never received 1 prior to this and been with site for 8 months and the fact that they advertised the line incorrectly at the time. I was very close to taking points and betting over but kept second guessing self, so I stayed away.
Never fun starting season off with a loss, GL next 1.
Deutsche Bank Championship Day 1 Picks...
I spent a unhealthy amount of time researching these matchups over past couple days. I also entered some 50/50s and HUs on DraftDay which is a different beast of its own that I only played once before.
I feel confident with picks today, hopefully I can get another winning week and get a streak going.
Pick of the day Jason Bohn VS Fowler

Worst day yet so far!
went 1-3-0 to end up negative -270 for day.The 3 matches I lost were by a combined 21 strokes! Even my "mock" picks were mostly duds.
Its short term obviously, but is annoying considering how much time devoted to studying everything I could getting ready for this week. While that time isn't considered wasted in my book, as I do enjoy it and I still gained "valuable" information for the next few days. If only I could magically erase my Day 1 plays for the past 8 months. I'm going to experiment with only "mock" picking Day 1 for a month or two unless I find a 3 unit pick, which id bet. Ill only bet 1.5 units on it though if that makes sense. Id like to see how this turns out. Its tough though as its hard get a large enough sample size to really tell with sports betting. Time will tell. Hopefully tomorrow will play out how I predict it will and get me back on track to putting up a winning week. Even if I am only able to reverse today's results over next 3 days, ill be happy with that.
