Cueto struggles weren't versus NL teams (or the Mets) where he pitched better before the trade. We are talking about a guy who threw in the NL since coming up in 2008 and besides the inter league games had very little experience pitching against AL teams.
He could easily fall back into his old groove and pitch two good outings in the World Series.

My brain says bet Mets. Better pitching and pitching wins Championships. I don't see a Royals pitcher winning 2 games where as any of the top 3 on the Mets could easily.

The Mets have played through some short comings with a couple of crazy hot hitters. They have near MLB worst defense at 2nd and SS, which means a lot of Royal base hits. Of course, if two guys hit a homer every game, it won't matter.
If no Met is super human, I expect the Royals to win this thing handily.
