Weighed myself on 5 hours sleep (College Football), my guess is if I slept another 3 hours I probably weigh in in the high 317s
In any event that is -60 pounds now, no margin for error the next 2 months
Intermittent fasting is going well. I am not doing anything too specific but trying to pack all of my macros into 3 meals a day and trying to not eat 4-5 hours before bed and trying to wait an hour after I wake up to eat every day.
I start a new training block tomorrow which looks like it is designed for more sets with lower reps so I will probably have to up the weights a bit
Jesus Christ give it a break. No one with a brain(or too much money, BBuster) is taking this bet.
I don't care of you can win the bet, one that is hard to prove, and one that someone wouldn't want to bet against, health considerations.
Sorry Les, I am just trying to provide content for the great people of PFA who bet me and trying to provide content for the site. You don't have to read THE THREAD.
I'm not trying to get any more action on the bet as you are suggesting but I have a decent amount , but if anyone wants to lose money I would snap accept. Been saying that since day 1, anyone who wants to bet me I will re-weigh in anywhere any time and would take on just about any amount.
Muck Ficon: Not about the money...that's what you said lol
It's not about the money , but at the same time it would be like playing poker vs. someone like you (or any fish for that matter) , I would rarely lose and just print print print.
In fact I think the amount of money I stand to win in bets vs. people on this site is so insignificant that I have paid about the same for personal trainers over the past 6 months. Druff can confirm this
China, I need your help. Weighed myself today and something odd happened. Here are the zero-weight and with-me pics of the scale I used today.
Have I somehow already reached my targeted weight loss goal (and some)???
P.S. See this post in Druff’s weight-loss-journey thread for reference:

Slight gain since Saturday of about a pound in a half , very sore today from walking lunges with weights.
i'm no 408mike, but why would you be doing any strength training right now
i know the purpose isn't just to win the bet, but why would you want to put on ANY muscle at this point
shouldn't you just be doing high reps, light weight to burn fat?
Are you saying you think it would be optimal to drop all weights right now? Or I should I be lifting, but just not be lifting heavy weights? Because I am not lifting super heavy weights right now. I am doing a lot of multiple body movement type stuff like all different types of lunges and squats etc.....
All I know is my trainer mapped out this program and his projection from when we started together around July 6th was to lose 27 pounds over the first 2 months. 2 Months will be in 2 days and I have already hit the 27 pound loss but I did fall back to 25 today but it is very likely that I will be right on point at 27 in 2 days so what he had calculated has been perfect so far.
The only things that have been modified so far are nutrition to a reduction in calories a couple of times when weight loss slowed, and I have started a new weight program at the beginning of every month.
It is probable that something changes in October. He gave me the warning yesterday to prepare myself for a 50 to 75 % increase in cardio for the final month leading up to the weigh in. That means I will be going from 1 hour of cardio per day to maybe 1 maybe an hour and a half or an hour and 45 minutes.
In any event my block of training I started Monday was this and Wednesday will be a completely different workout
3 sets of 12 reps of barbell back squats and 3 sets of 20-30 second planks
Bulgarian split squats 3 sets of 8 per side/ Bent over dumb bell rows 3 sets of 7 and 3 sets of sprinter crunches
Ending with Walking lunges 3 sets of 10 per leg and 3 sets of medicine ball push ups 8-10 reps.
Followed by 60 minutes of cardio
Also if your question was about my post where I was foreshadowing my new training block to be less reps and heavy weights, the first block turned out to be the opposite of that.
My training block for tomorrow looks similar to what I posted earlier, but looking now it looks like I have 5 sets of deadlifts Friday @ 3 reps so I would guess these would have to be a little heavier but more or less still 90 % of what I am doing is controlled medium type weight lifting where I am not killing myself trying to bulk
China, I can give you some tips how to come down with my current medical condition.
Never in my life have I lost so much weight so quickly, and it required zero effort.
You'll be a lock to win.

Have been doing 60 minutes cardio per day but have now upped that to 90 minutes per day
To anyone involved in this bet, but this is stupid. You are betting against a guy that literally has no job, and seems to every every incentive in the world to go from 300 somthing to 280ish? Come on. Not difficult. Not at all.
Go from 250 to 185. That will take hard ass work. Cardio and weights for 4 hours a day, plus hard core diet, protein and shakes only. Going form 380 to 280 requires taking out a big mac a day for a year. Anyone can do this with no incentive at all. This might be the biggest scam bet I have seen on all these forums, dating back to 2005. I cannot believe people bet the other way. Congrats China, you found the biggest suckers in the world, and you only went from morbidly obese to obese.
Good for you. Seriously.
He influences the result of the bet by trying to win it. (and has offered to verify with third party)
There's nothing wrong, and in fact it's pretty common, with offering the "I bet you I can do this thing" bet. Golf comes to mind first.
If you think he's cheating somehow that's a different story.
Found this diet, on the net:

GL, Sir.
For "a guy that has no job" I would guess I work between 60-80 hours every week so having no job is incorrect. I just work for myself.
If you think going from 380 to 2xx is not difficult then either gain or lose a bunch of weight to get into the 300s and come up with some type of proposition unless you have done it before. Then you will truly know how easy or difficult it is. In theory it is easy, breaking habits and maintaining discipline is the hard part. If it was not difficult then America would not be the fattest country on the earth
Correct
It would be no different than if Jon from across the street who can't touch the rim on a 10 foot basketball hoop wanted to bet me that he could dunk an NBA ball within 14 months. Either he puts in the work and does it or he does not.
I mean most anything you do in life you control the outcome. So I guess by their definition if Jim from the corner gets into Harvard and I bet him he will never graduate then that is a scam because he controls the outcome. Has to be some of the worst trolling of all time or seriously have no ability to distinguish black from white
Correct again, no different than if I bet someone I can play 100 million hands of poker in a month, just because I control how many hands I play would that make this a scam? If anyone truly believes that then they are either a horrible troll or really dumb.
Most people I bet are rooting for me to win.
The only person I bet that came at this with an approach of they thought they might have had an edge was Belly Buster and his thinking was spot on. In fact, his reasoning was that I wasn't giving it proper effort in the early stages of this and on that front he was correct. I think I lost 20 pounds last November/ early December and then I think I weighed close to the same around April and I worked out in April but May and June I half assed it. He also said it would be more difficult losing weight later and he has been correct there as this has not been the greatest month for me despite the efforts I have put in.
So more or less when this thing finishes win or lose I am guessing 95 % of the work I will have done will be packed into 6 months and I am hoping it is over 100 pounds lost.
Woke up today and weighed in @ 315
Yesterday Between 3 AM and like 8 PM I walked roughly 11 miles and I am not in the least bit sore today. I owe a lot of that to my trainer who has put me thru a lot of leg training that was not exactly super fun.
Today I have a weight session + 90 minutes of cardio
Today will be my highest calorie burning day so far this year as far as workouts go
My point was that it seemed too easy to win, it wasn't like the Ted Forrest or Matusow weight loss bets that took grit and determination. This bet involved a fat guy becoming slightly less fat. Good for China if he actually got the 5K or whatever actually booked, and I understand it isn't a lot of money, but damn, that's easy money for someone that doesn't have a "real" job. Ratcheting up from 60 mins of cardio to 90 mins of cardio a day just shows you how easy the whole thing was for china, that is NOT a lot of cardio for anyone who has been working out, supposedly, for months and months, like he says. And the meal prep. Okay, not hard. Go to whole foods or any grocery store. Hit up the pre cooked section and buy 10 pounds of cooked salmon and green beans. Boom. Not even expensive or difficult.
The Ted Forrest bet was a lot different though. He got some great odds (possibly insane odds) to do that bet if I remember correctly. More difficulty for any bet = a better price. I would have entertained losing more weight for better odds.
As far as the money goes , the closer we get to the end, the more not losing the money that is out there means something because every day from here on in for me is worth like $300 and every day that # increases. The final month will increase to like 3k+ per week or something. But throughout the bet I was never pumped up for winning the money as evidenced by the pretty much 4 month gap where I did not do much but maintain my weight.
Going from 60 minutes to 90 minutes cardio is still a 50 % increase but you are correct that it will be easier because I have been non stop training since July. But it still has to get done every day.
Not having a "real job" I still don't understand where you are coming from with this. Even while not being employed by someone else I still work more than anyone I know. So in theory I probably have less time to train than your average 9 to 5 guy.
Also when it comes to meal prepping that is not really difficult for me at all but not for the reasons you say. I do not buy any pre-cooked stuff. I buy all of my food from the market, I mass cook my own fish and chicken and beef and cook enough vegetables and potatoes for 2 -3 days. Every meal I eat is weighed and all carbs , fats, proteins and calories are tracked so I hit a specific # daily.
While my food bills have gone up I have probably saved a ton of money by not eating out.
This thread is a huge hoax, lol at anyone here who took it. Hoaxters gonna hoax.
the issue isn't that he's influencing the bet. that part's obvious. the issue is that the results are 100% unverifiable, despite the fact that he's permitting people to come to the scale with him (which obv no one would do for such small amounts of money, individually).
the last time we saw something like this was jasep, with his live play BAP. the community just had to accept the results jasep provided. druff let that go forward "cause he was a trusted part of the community", just like china, even though druff said he wouldn't permit that kind of thing to happen again after jasep.
and ftr, i don't think china set out to scam anyone. i think it's likely that he believed (and still believes) he will win, and that the bets were/are motivation.
but i will say this. he's not going to lose $5,000. that's just not going to happen. so take that for what it's worth.
I think the issue here is credibility and lack thereof......js....But we also shouldn't judge people on one bad decision solely......fwiw......
