if anyone got 'scammed' here, it's me
he already back charged my business account, and has been refunded in full
I don't even give a shit about the $885.00 anymore
but I'm still out money that was spent outsourcing some of the work, on top of the time invested setting everything up on my server
so Golin, how about you change the record, put on your cute little security guard outfit, and go roll some teenagers for buds
I'd think for an amount that large the credit card company would seek your input before taking the money back? I think if its small enough the credit card just takes the hit and the merchant keeps their money and the payer gets reimbursed. What happened in this case? Did they give you a certain time frame to respond and you didn't post? Did they not like your answer? If they just took the money without contacting you then you probably have a decent case if this has never happened to you before.
You don't work weekends, but you repeatedly call customers at all ours of the night? Riiight
Im pretty certain i would blow a freakin gasket if i had a business repeatedly phoning me at 3am, and I myself would say "fuck it, give me my damn money back", so i certainly cant blame the guy for being pissed off.
holy shit, are you fucking retarded ?
how many times do I have to repeat the same thing before it sinks in your thick skull ?
I never 'repeatedly called him'...that aspect of this story is completely false
I called him twice in a row during the middle of the day and he snapped...leaving his voicemail....and then proceeded to start in with the threats via email
get your facts straight before you make some transparent attempt to twist the actual circumstances just to paint me in a bad light
See, this is the problem with you. You expect everyone to just accept what you say as fact but when someone asks a perfectly legitimate question you can't/won't answer it & they are trolls. You've put forth 3 different scenarios to explain this & none of them really make a lot of sense.
When was this threatening voicemail received by you? Just from the email exchange, it seems like this would have happened a day or 2 after November 17th when you finally replied but maybe not.
Edit:I see by your post above that the VM was received a couple days after the 17th when you replied after 4 days of silence.
Why did you decide to finish it after he cancelled & said to keep the first payment but refund the rest? What was the point of doing that given everything you've said transpired? Did you have an ironclad contract where you felt he was gonna send you the final installments? Seems unlikely given what a problem client you've made him out to be.Quote:

LMAO...Marty. Getting destroyed in his own thread.
I still can't believe people give China action in these type of threads.
Does no one remember the Peterdc threads?
Muck Ficon has been going strong in this thread trolling hard since 6 AM this morning
pushing 15 hours straight now
hope you enjoyed your Sunday champ
TIGHT LIFE
why don't you post your poker record with profits (or lack thereof) tough guy ?
let alone any details whatsoever about your 'amazing' life in Buttfuck, Wisconsin ...or some info about working whatever your shit job you're stuck in
IMO just another spineless gimp with a keyboard, but contribute nothing worth reading
double digit IQ midwestern white trash
one thing is painfully clear...
Muck definitely hates his crappy life, and will never have the balls to put himself out there
his whole shtick is to fire off these simplistic and painfully unoriginal one liners

I am also confused about the chargebacks.
Banks always give the merchant 30 days to respond. If the merchant does not respond, the customer wins automatically. If the merchant does respond, they evaluate both claims and make a decision.
This is actually a loophole to win chargebacks against large businesses, as they often do not have the structure in place to respond to chargebacks within 30 days. I have recovered money from airlines that screwed me via this process, though I've only used it honestly, never to steal money that I'm not entitled to. (For example, I was once promised a refund due to a fare difference, never received it, and then subsequent calls had the airline denying I was ever promised it in the first place.)
But anyway... Marty, did you or did you receive notification of the chargeback attempt, and did you respond?
BTW, I think it's possible that Marty uses some third-party credit card processor. I doubt he has the ability to process the payments himself. Often those third party processors don't feel like getting in the middle of the chargeback routine, and simply ding the customer automatically when one comes through.
Also, it's possible this was a credit card payment through Paypal, who is also notoriously customer-biased when it comes to chargebacks.
China's graph shows 7500 BB won. As I believe he plays a lot of 10/20 on Merge, I think that means he won $75,000.
Some of this might also be 20/40 or 30/60 on Bovada, but I don't think he plays those games as actively as I do.
