Forgot the name of the series
different events/stories...7 something or other
Westminster Dog Show (episode one)
It's instantly sad, then pathetic, then hilarious, then sad etc.
If you watch it you'll realize how sad this photograph is
I'm a few minutes in and I don't think I watch it
edit:
didn't watch cause I see Netflix has the Holy Grail which I tried to download illegally
last night
First scene and I'm busting a gut
Sunderland till I die
Documentary on the Sunderland FC... enjoyed it. :-)
I saw some people talking about how great bird box is on Facebook yesterday so I checked it out lastnight. Now I know who the autistic people on my friends list are.
I just barreled through "Trump: An American Dream", and I have to say, even though its obviously a hit piece, it's a pretty fascinating hit piece.
They obviously only focus on the President's past life, starting from like 1975 I think, and only seem to capture one side of the man. They obviously have an agenda, but I have to say it was things I needed to see and hear in order to measure a man at his full spectrum.
Watching this hit piece only confirmed my suspicion that the President does have a level of genius to him.
A lot of hypocrisy in this documentary, they really paint the President in a way that insinuates that the world is wholesome and good, everything thing is rainbows and butterflies until big bad President Trump shows up and blows your house down........other than the hypocrisy......I give it a 7 out of 10....
This documentary really does give away a winning strategy in politics....if you listen close enough....
You and Dogs of Berlin didn't completely suck. Reasonable fluff till something better comes along.

Something in the region of American Psycho and Dexter.

Dogs of Berlin was like a comic version of a crime drama. Some suspension of belief is required.
You should check out Conan Without Borders.
I'm a big fan already but Conan's
Neflix series is his comedy on steroids.
I've just seen the first two, Cuba and Korea and they were laugh out loud worthy
throughout. The guy makes people laugh no matter who they are. And he's a friendly jerk.
Episode three is Mexico and it's right for the times........ just starting it.
Finally got done with 'Godless' after hearing good things.
And what promise it showed at the beginning. It started like a better version of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Only to morph into Little House on the Prairie.
Shite
5/10
Incredible show (originally a bunch of youtube clips I believe). Conan is on another level when it comes to comedy gold. Puts Fallon, Kimmel, Seth Meyers, etc. to shame.
The Israel episode was my favorite.
Apparently he is taking a new approach and making big changes to his TBS show after suddenly going dark for 3 months. Late night television is obviously dying since nobody actually watches Television anymore - just youtube clips of the interesting parts.
Great NYTimes Article:
Conan O’Brien Wants to Scare Himself With the New, Shorter ‘Conan’
Oh and hey, the New Conan show premiers tomorrow night. On TBS. So I'll probably watch it a few days later on Hulu or youtube.
Russian Doll was surprisingly good. :)
Struggle: The Life And Lost Art Of Szukalski was good. Never heard of this guy before. Born in the 1890s. Made some amazing works of art in his early years. Very outrageous personality, with an ego that makes Trump seem humble as a church mouse. He enjoyed several decades of being a celebrated artist in his younger days, albeit with a dark aspect of his beliefs and politics prior to World War II. Died in near obscurity in Southern California in the 1980s. There’s more to story but I don’t want to spoil for you if you haven’t seen it yet.
Abducted in Plain Sight was crazy....possibly the dumbest parents in the world basically let their daughter get kidnapped by a friend...twice.
Got done with the first series of The Punisher and I'll be giving the second series a huge swerve.
5.8/10
Honestly feels like forever since I fell madly in love with a good series.
Better Call Saul would be the last one I think.
Anyone watch Anon? Pretty good movie, Clive Owen always surprises me....also I have a feeling that the premise of the movie is eerily similar to what the world is going to become..........even if I could see what sonatine is doing, I don't think I'd ever look....
Life Below Zero
As usual I'm late to the party. Looks like there are 5 seasons which tells you how popular it is/was.
This ain't no Ice Road Trucker reality series. This is survival in a brutal environment.
Some difficult shit to watch (trap line hunting) but it is what it is.

The 4 part Ted Bundy doc was pretty good. Tons of real footage/audio recordings.
He cross examined witnesses in his own case ffs.
The Beyond was really great if you are a Sci-fi / space / apocalypse type fan.
14 Minutes from Earth: This doc about Alan Eustace, a late 50s Google exec, breaking Felix Baumgartner’s record for highest balloon drop a few years ago is now on Netflix. Here’s a preview.
https://youtu.be/rBZ0BpiG0x0
The amazing thing shown in the vid is how casually some of the engineers working on this project perceived the risks to Eustace’s life until shit went wrong in various stages of testing.
First season was pretty weak...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOWDuI6au3w
...maybe second season doesn't suck as much?
Bit of drought with good TV. Poor mans Gomorra might fill a few hours. Released on 22nd.
It was ok. It’s basically a movie that has already been made 100 times before (Contact, The day the earth stood still, and Arrival off the top of my head), and doesn’t really add anything to the genre.
As far as low budget Sci-fi alien contact movies go, I thought The Signal was a lot better and more original.
One episode into 'The Umbrella Academy'.
Seems very promising. The plot seems like a darker version of the X-Men school. Sort of.

Just watched "Beyond The Curve" and all I can say is wow. There is clearly something more and we are clearly being manipulated by these "ball earth" fraudsters and punks. Mark Sargent should win an Emmy for this A+ performance. Hands down the best and most convincing documentary I've ever watched. I can't believe I was lied to for so long.
The Last Alaskans ain't available on Netflix Canada. The well written part doesn't sit right with me
because below zero is not "written" as a sitcom would be.
So I don't buy it and I don't like the title. The last Alaskans. Unless they're talking about the indigenous people
