This is exactly why the nonsense from both the left and the right when it comes to policy positions by the President and Presidential candidates is mostly rubbish.
The #1 job of the President is Head of State/Commander in Chief. The #2 job is to never forget #1. Trump's overall ineptness as Head of State is precisely why I finally pulled my support in late 2018.
I actually think Trump has done about as well as could have been expected with this unprecedented crisis, but that is a really, really low bar.
He's clearly out of his depth and that should be apparent to anyone, but unlike those that truly hate him I still hope for him to succeed and do well I just have no expectations that he will.
You live in Washington, your vote and really opinion are meaningless. Washington is deep blue. Being a swing voter is worthless in that state. You really ought to just embrace Obama so you can fit it with your neighbors.Quote:
