Shoulda had that Jets +299 win, but instead will break even on it, winning spread.
Just needed a few yards up to be in comfortable FG range and they couldn’t do it.
Fields had a horrendous game — 45 yards, 9 sacks. The fact that they were a few yards from victory — and actually could’ve tried a 62 yard FG for the win — was amazing.
here's a bad beat story for you Kalam, had jets +.5 in first quarter. jets were up 6-3 and broncos rush to get a snap off as the play clock is winding down for no reason at the end of the quarter and throw a 16 yard td with no time left on the clock to fuck me and didn't score another td the rest of the game.

I tacked on AZ under at the last minute. Cardinals scored way more than I expected. Unfortunately they fell a bit short of outright winning (despite covering), which is unfortunate for me with Survivor.

I had not read anything about Ward being out, and I didn't base my bet upon that. I was mulling over whether I still wanted the bet with the line having worsened like that, but the movement seemed to show me that they wanted more LV action, so I went the opposite way. (Indeed, he isn't out.)
So far it's not looking great, as the Titans are being the Titans.
I think I might get Verm'd here.
Tennessee looks as bad this week as the Raiders looked last week.
Fumble near their own goal line causes a TD, and then they throw an INT right at the end of the quarter where they were otherwise getting minimum FG. The 10-0 deficit feels like 40-0.

Horrible start to weekend.
I have San Jose St +4.
They are going to lose by 5, with a missed extra point, which they doubled down on with a missed 2 point conversion. So just threw away 3 points.
Of course the play that really fucked me is a play you see 50 times every weekend, with the same result every time. San Jose St. is down 2 with about 5 minutes left and they have 4th and 1 around midfield. They go for it, which is fine. But it is a super predictable power run against a stacked box and never has a chance.
Then Utah St. drives down 20 yards to bleed clock and kick a FG and go up by 5.

I had a good week last Sunday until I threw on Titans at the last minute. Ugh.
I said last week that I was done betting on shitty teams against other shitty teams, as it's too unpredictable. That lasted all of 5 1/2 days.
Note that Chicago's forecast calls for rain in the first 1-2 hours, and wind the entire way. I think this one stays close, and the rain/wind diminishes scoring.

I would just sit on this. I don't have strong opinions about that series. I think Seattle pulls it out but it's been a strange series, with home teams being 1-4 thus far.
