Most of the way through a Season 4 Marathon and I don't get the criticism.

If he doesn't get brought back they wasted at least 20 of the 50 hours of the shows running time to date. Any shot that had to do with Jon Snow, The Wall, the Knights Watch, Stannis inc wife and burnt kid, the red cunt, The Wildlings, the White walkers, onion knight, the dickheads without banners and any scene with the Boltons not directly related to the Lannister/Stark war will have been a complete waste of fucking time.
The only other road left would be for Bran to find out what happened and to have him turn into a fucking Sith Lord and murder the entire world starting at the wall and work his way down.
In addition..... If you watch the "for the watch" scene they make it screamingly obvious that these dumb fucks stabbed his ass and left him for dead and then turn around and walk away. they actually made a point to show them all walking away and leaving him for dead. Wonder who is going to find him? Bet she has red hair.

I was thinking today how perf it would be if Firebitch somehow goaded the nights watch into killing Jon so she could rez him and free from his obligations.
