i will concede immigration has improved which would have required very, very little and he fucked around with some overtime rules. oh, and qatar will get an independent air force base on one of our existing ones.
Are you talking first term? Or the first 10 months of this term?
I will concede that Trump's second term has thus far been disappointing, between the bad cabinet picks, the mishandling of the ICE situation, the tariffs, the bad pardons, and the general corruption.
However, the first Trump term was excellent -- at least for the first 3 years before COVID threw a wrench into everything. He did most of what he promised, the economy was great pre-COVID, and every foreign policy move was correct and worked out well.
That's why I voted for him again in 2020, despite his not-so-great final year. I gave somewhat of a pass to him in 2020 because the Dems/media were awful, with a lot of false blame was being laid at his feet for COVID outcomes, which then caused him to hyper-focus on fighting back against that narrative, and little got done that year.
Anyway, a lot of 2025 Trump stuff has annoyed/frustrated me, but pivoting to a guy like Fuentes to lead the way is a huge mistake.
If you want to laugh at his remarks and agree with some things he says, that's fine. But any policy resembling what he is championing is a huge loser for the GOP.
