Jason Mo doesn't seem to think Vanessa is a lock.

Not only is Selbst a better player than Mo, but she also has a bigger dick than him.
:lol2
good for selbst, she is god.
Who was it that made those massive braclet bets a few years ago and all the pros were nervous and watching when the guy lost in heads up? Was it ivey?
Tom Dwan. By all accounts, it was insanity in the Amazon room when he got heads up.

So far so good as DN&PI are stuck in reverse to start the wsop, DANIEL NEGREANU @RealKidPoker
0-5 to start the 2014 WSOP. Next two days I'll be golfing. Next event Sunday night $10k Omaha 8. Skipping Millionaire Maker tomorrow.

Glad I didn't bet against Selbst.
She has got to be one of the top tournament players out there right now.
I have said I think any 2 players are a dog to win the gold in any given year but oddly enough I wouldn't have bet a dime if she was in the bet, I have seen her to deep with to many chips to many times in recent years to ever bet a dime against her. She can build a stack like no other.
Event #10, $10k Limit Omaha 8 or Better got 178 entries. Ivey busted early. Looks like Negreanu late reg'd and, according to the official WSOP Report, is sitting at 11th place with 99,100 chips entering day 2. 111 remain in this stacked field.
Probably too early yet for a sweat.
Here is his Day 2 starting table:
Larry Wright MC QUEENEY, TX, US 95,600 Amazon / 362 / 1
Keeth Beharrell Strathroy, ON, CA 16,600 Amazon / 362 / 2
Tom Koral SKOKIE, IL, US 38,200 Amazon / 362 / 3
Phillip Hui San Antonio, TX, US 13,300 Amazon / 362 / 4
Vanessa Selbst LAS VEGAS, NV, US 33,200 Amazon / 362 / 5
Ismael Bojang HAMBURG, DE 135,100 Amazon / 362 / 6
Daniel Negreanu TORONTO, ON, CA 99,100 Amazon / 362 / 7
Barry Greenstein RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA, US 11,000 Amazon / 362 / 8
Owais Ahmed ANAHEIM, CA, US 35,100 Amazon / 362 / 9
So far, so good.
Two blue, 1 green, 1 red down without either winning.
Tomorrow's "purple" Event #13, No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball $10k, will be a big sweat. Probably 90 entrants. Likely smallest field other than One Drop.
So far your field size estimations have been pretty darn accurate. How do you do it?
87 entrants for the No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball $10k event. In sweat news, Ivey busted out pretty early. Negreanu, however, made Day 2. With 86,000 chips, he is currently 15th out of 36 remaining players. He is at the table with the chip leader, Jennifer Harman, and perennial NL threat Michael Mizrachi.
Ivey somehow snuck into Event #12 ($1500 PL Holdem) and is still alive on Day 2, sitting in the middle of the pack, starting the day 39th of the 69 survivors.
My estimates are mostly based upon the last 2 years, along with some small adjustments based upon my personal feelings as to the game's current popularity.
Event #13 didn't exist last year, but I extrapolated from similar events.
Anyway, I will be relieved when Negreanu busts from this one.
Yikes!
Jen lookin' like a muppet.
