I’ve been in touch with Mother Druff a few times since it all went down. She is in good spirits, thinks of me as “her other son” and we discuss Dan and his past antics of college dating and the YouTube fame fantasy. She is very special to me and a national treasure.

Seems kind of odd to be BFFs with an 80-year old woman, especially the mother of a best friend. I've been friendly with some my friend's moms over the years but never to that level. I wonder how deep you get in discussion of Todd's "past antics of college dating". Sounds kinda creepy to talk about this with his mom, but whatever floats your boat.
