Has anyone ever lost a phone and a good samaritan returned it?
Has anyone ever been that good samaritan? If not did you sell it? Give it away?

I just found out that someone I've known since 2000 deleted me from their Facebook because I complained a year ago about their incessant "checking in" updates.
They deleted me a year ago and I just noticed now.
When I tried to re-friend them and explained that my complaints were mostly in jest, they were still very offended and refused to re-friend me.
Facebook = serious biz
I was very impressed with Michelle Obama's speech........I'm also very shocked that I was very impressed with Michelle Obama's speech.
Here is a random thought.
Suppose the Obama Justice Dept. doesn't get our FTP money back to us in time, Romney is elected, and the Romney Justice Dept. decides since they don't like gambling, to just hang onto our money?
Couldn't happen right?
Some of us do live in the land of the free.
Deep thought, this must be a best seller in the greater-metropolitan areas...
Forget swimming, how about crossing the street in an orderly fashion.
fuck crossing the street in orderly fashion, how about NOT living up to EVERY stereotype and then screaming racism when called out for acting like monkeys in flashy ghetto clothing.
I had a conversation with a guy in a bar recently whose legal first name, since birth, is Skywalker. However, he was born in 1976, before the movies ever came out. Turns out his mother is Native American, and that's where the name comes from. His parents must have been pissed when Star Wars came out, and he must have hated high school.
I don't understand why everyone coddles fat people. I just saw a thread on another site where someone compared Gina Rinehart (Australian mining villain) to a hideous blob, and everyone got all butthurt. Mostly the fat people, I would imagine. It's not like making fun of someone for being handicapped or something out of their control. If you feel sad that fat people get made fun of, because you're fat, then you can stop being fat. If you don't want to stop being fat, then it might be a good idea to grow some thicker skin.
I heard a story once where an obese woman poked fun at her coworker for being too skinny. He replied "well you're too fat, so I guess we're even!", in a light-hearted tone. Everyone reacted horrified as if he had just blurted a racial slur. Nice double standard. I'm very skinny, and I don't care enough to work out and put on muscle. It's a conscious decision I've made. People remark about it all the time, and that's fine because they're right. We all have flaws. Let's not live in denial and expect everyone to pretend that they don't exist. Let's be accountable for our decisions.
I used to smoke cigarettes, and people would sometimes frown upon that. As children, we're warned against the dangers of smoking. There is a stigma attached to it. And that's perfectly fine. It seems odd to me that these same things don't apply to obesity and overeating. Instead of warning people that their mortality rate is going to double, we tell them that they're special snowflakes that are just fine the way they are. We encourage women to throw around euphemisms like "curvy" and BBW. We have fat people proud of being fat and dying of heart disease.
Of course, if you say any of that to fat people you're some kind of bigoted monster.
Years ago, when I lived in Memphis, I lived close to a very black area. One morning as I was stopped at an intersection, 3 black women passed in front of me with about 15 kids, maybe 3-5 years of age. I noticed behind them another kid, not much more than a toddler, had turned and was walking down another sidewalk. I hollered at the women "Hey you forgot one" and pointed at the other kid. The women looked at each other, all nodded their heads and one said back to me "He's not one of ours" and they kept going on their way, not bothering about the other kid. I wasn't sure what to do, and really didn't want to get involved and decided if they don't care why the hell should I.
Some people are fat more from genetics than dietary habits or laziness.
While it is true that most could be thin if they were to put out enough effort, some people are at such a genetic disadvantage when it comes to weight that it would require an extreme undertaking to be thin. That is, they eat the same way as you do, but you're skinny and they're really fat.
I agree that these "fat rights" groups are stupid, though. I actually have someone on my Facebook who constantly pushes a "fat is better" agenda.
I think it's fine to say, "I know I'm fat, but I don't care, and it's my body so leave me the fuck alone", but it 's pretty LOL when fat people actually convince themselves that they're better that way.
I feel qualified to speak on this, because I would prefer to be about 40 pounds lighter than I currently am, and I don't delude myself into thinking that this extra weight is an improvement.
Most all criminals are skinny. Not many fat people in jail or prison. But they are full of skinny people. So if there is someone skinny around watch your money.
Standing up for black people, you're doing god's work. My read on you is you are one of those people that like to act like you stand up for black people. However if you see one walking towards you then you are the first one to grip your wallet a little tighter and cross the street to avoid them. Either that or you're a dumb n-word yourself but I don't put you on that.
