Weird ad, because it actually has a semi-happy ending that the family might be able to charge back the losses and everything will be okay.
This is actually one of the reasons why the "protect the children" thing is such BS. If he used his dad's credit card, it would be discovered by Daddy within a month anyway, and that would be that. No gambling addiction would be able to develop in that short of a time.
