Google 17 year old Defenseman Alexander Karmanov who is 7 feet tall and weighs 273 pounds.

Think he’s stopped growing?

Last summer, at age 16, he committed to play college hockey at Penn State in 2027.

Nerd scouting vid. The video makes a gross oversight in not mentioning the kid is from Moldova. Moldova didn’t even have a hockey rink. His father put 125,000 miles on his Camry driving the kid to practice. You and I have done that too but I digress. Kid is so raw.

Hes going to be the second coming of Zdano Chara. Dudes gonna need to get a stick waiver like Chara did when he gets to the pros.

Wearing hockey skates add 3-5” in height too. This kid might accidentally kill someone with his body or his shot. He’s one enormous living lever. He’s akin to these 6’10 pitchers that are the rage now.

They say Chara was a poor skater at the same age. No one worked harder than Chara. He was a legend in the gym. He could be seen riding his bicycle around Boston and on his way to play the game that night. He did the hardest thing always and well past the time mortals woulda retired.

They can’t find pads to fit this kid. Under Armor is borrowing from goalie pad design for now.

How much do you weigh?

Most guys retire and get lazy/big.....Z still chugging along.

What a heart breaker although it helped with the parlay. Sharks should have won in regulation but this shows where they are at.
