I was dating a guy in 2007 and 2008 and we had a disagreement over whether or not a Rapist should have Parental Rights. I said,"No, he shouldn't have Parental Rights because the Baby was conceived from RAPE. He doesn't deserve Parental Rights. My then Boyfriend argued, "But the Baby was conceived from his sperm, so he deserves Parental Rights as he is the Biological Father. " We went back and forth. I still feel to this day a Rapist does not deserve Parental Rights... What do you guys think?

No, the father should not have rights IMO. It would be wrong to force the mother to re-live this every other weekend and alternating Thanksgiving.Quote:

Actually, this poll is based on an assumption. What if the woman rapes the man? Is anyone going to say she doesn't have parental rights?
Child support and parental rights aren’t necessarily related. If the father is abusive, drug addiction or whatever he can lose parental rights and still have to pay child support.Quote:

now personally how I and others feel toward that person is one way, but unfortunately that piece of dirt specimen had children and obviously that isnt those kids fault. Who wouldnt even ever know any of ot if all existed, so its never the kids fault. Yeah i can think the mom is trash, but reality is, from a parenting perspective, maybe while supervised and limited certain ways ok, but you cant ever break that real attachment, never
