RUSSIA has been gut punched off the site again

Every so often, Russian hackers attempt to hijack PFA and turn it into a zombie spam server. This is not aimed at me personally, but rather a mass targeting of sites using this forum software (vBulletin).

They were attempting to do it this time via the "Contact Us" form, which seems to have had some vulnerabilities.

I believe I have closed the loophole, and sent the Russians back to Sputnik. They did not actually get into the server, but they were trying damn hard. All of your data is safe and was not accessed by them.

Why am I punched off the site?

What do you think their main motive is Todd. Are they trying to encourage liberal minded people to stay the course?

fyi I use this for the e-commerce part of a business I manage and block Russia and China and it basically fixes 99.9% of the problems - I only apply the rules on the CC processing page (actually the directory where the CC processing page is ) and let any user browse the rest of the site.

Check it out if whatever u did didn't work.

Site was down for a few hours this morning, but it appears to have been from a PHP malfunction unrelated to this.

Actually the Russians did more damage than I thought. Shit.

OK, fingers crossed, I think I removed their PHP backdoors.
