He does refer to a friend named "Charlie" who both told him "something was going on" at Nicole Brown's house AND handed him the knife to attack Ron and Nicole.
It has been theorized that Charlie doesn't exist, and is actually another personality of OJ's.

If I was his publicist I'd tell him it's time to admit he's Khloe Kardashian's Dad. This new Charlie/Brown thing can't be good for his image.

Goldman though. That poor fuck. At worst he was trying to get laid from a single broad. It’s possible he was just errand-boying that shit for his boss since he was banging her. Either way, kid didn’t have that coming.
I’d have been pretty much meh had he just killed his ex. Her whole family gave me the creeps. Just struck me as a family of gold diggers they had milked the OJ train for a good long while.
FTR he was talking about that book he got paid to put his name behind. Todd is possibly becoming a washed up poster, doesn't have the time to do his own research thus leaving out key parts of the story, but still forcefully making points. I've had to correct him 2 days in a row now.
