hey druff, i had two strokes on july 14th, stop being suxh a pussy, try sleeping while u cant move ur whole left side and an iv in one arm and a blood pressure cuff on the other taking ur pressure every 15 minutes and nurses checking ur vitals every two ohours, and then having a cath put in cuz u cant piss!Quote:

three factors were cause of my strokes, genetics was main reason, sleep apnea, and yes im overweight. I am 36 years old, 6 foot 1 and weigh 260 pounds. if I had just not been dumb and gone to the doctor or checked my blood pressure at some point in the last 15 years, all of this could have been avoided. but I'm very lucky to be alive and I am going to make a full recovery. my blood pressure was 265/160 when I went to emergency room and they estimate my bp has prolly been around 200/150 for the last 10 years. I'm very lucky to be alive. they lowered it too fast in the icu and that caused an extension of my stroke which caused my left side to not work. luckily I haven't lost any memory, speech or cognitive skills and after 2 weeks in therapy I'm already walking with a cane, so the future is bright.Quote:

yes mumbles I'm wearing the hospital provided cpap at night and am scheduled for a sleep study when I get out of rehab to get a better custom cap. I can already tell a huge difference in just a couple weeks of wearing the cpap, yes sleep apnea is no fucking joke
